I looked at the two boys. I held onto the fire truck- I need to find out what this whole mystery is! I know there's a mystery here. Will wouldn't just drown in the quarry! I know Will very well! HNL has something to do with it...
"You two boys- I'll go talk to Mike tomorrow! But you two get him! And I'll use my old walkie-talkie to contact to you! Take El to the Wheeler's house... I have to just- I have to process all of this!"
Dustin grabbed my hand. "I'll ride you home-"
"No! I need to be alone!"
"Sophie!" El yelled.
I stopped & gave El a hug. "I'll be back tomorrow El- you three have to go now!"
I ran away from the quarry! I need help- Derek! I can talk to him! He's the only one right now I can talk to. Steve wouldn't understand a single thing I'm going through right now! Today has been a WHOLE insane fricken day...

I pounded my hand on Derek's front door! "Derek!" I yelled!
He opened the door- I almost instantly hugged him. He hugged me back. Shit- I'm crying again. It just feels nice being around Derek because he understands me! And he's SO nice! "Sophie I'm here... I'm here..."
He held me & walked me into his living room. "What's wrong-"
"Will- they found his body... he's gone!"
Derek sat me down on his couch. "Oh God- how do you know?"
"I was with some... people!- and we saw his body at the quarry- the police found it! My brain is just going INSANE!"
"It's ok- It's ok! Talk to me Sophie... just talk to me!"
I shook my head. "No- there's stuff that's insane! That makes me sound crazy! But I think... I think HNL... the lab from the other night- I think they killed Will!- or had some responsibility!"
Derek nodded. "I'll help you with whatever you need... we're friends right."
I wiped my tears away & nodded at that. "Yeah we are... friends!"
"So this is why you were... skipping school?" He asked.
"Yeah- anybody say anything."
Derek nodded with a disappointed face. "Carol thought you went missing or was murdered- Steve is worried sick... questioned me."
