I stormed into my house an hour before midnight! I rammed the VHS tape onto the coffee table. I'm so- I'm so TIRED! Who the hell can I even trust now?! Derek cheated... Angel was a backstabber... and Steve LEFT me! Steve's in the kitchen right now...
I rushed in & sat down... I looked right at Steve. "I had the worst night of my life..."
"Yeah same-"
I wiped my face on with a napkin. "And you abandoned me... you left for whatever reason! I am not ok- I needed you & you left..."
Steve looked up at me. "What happened?"
"Well, I have no friends- no boyfriend- and everybody in school will forever know me as the girl that got cheated on!" I explained. "And what? You just leave without telling me?"
Steve nodded. "Nancy said she didn't love me... she got shit-faced & said all kinds of crap-"
"Guess we both had the worst Halloween's ever-"
Our dad appeared. "-Seems like you both did! But Sophie... you have humiliated this families name... this is why we wanted you to date someone popular- like a jock!"
I got up & glared at him. "I'm not doing that- I loved Derek! I do NOT want to date a damn jock & live an unhappy life in this piece of shit town! With a piece of shit name like Harrington... you are the worst father ever... and that mother upstairs? She's a BITCH & just as bad as you!"
Our dad began to laugh. "Me? The worst father ever... well you know what you got cheated on! Shows how much of a person you are- and you left sports! God... you're the worst daughter ever!"
"DAD SHUT UP!" Steve yelled.
I began to tear up. "Then I'll leave! Maybe I'll do better without you! Maybe I'll get somewhere in life than just being a housewife."
"Go... you're a disgrace to the Harringtons!" He yelled in my face.
"DAD PLEASE!" Steve yelled!
I ran upstairs & began packing! I'm NEVER going back to this house. I'm done with everything! Screw this family! SCREW EVERYBODY! My dad stormed in. "You'll be back in a day! I know it! Because you're pathetic..."
"Wanna bet?!" I asked as I put the last on my clothes in my backpack.
"Sophie wait!" Steve yelled as I walked out of the house... suddenly I noticed another letter. I quickly picked it up & turned back to Steve. "Sophie don't go please-" Steve began to beg.
