I woke up around 8am and got up. I went downstairs to the kitchen. "Look Mel. LA woke up" - Rudy "Wait when did you guys met?" - Melissa "Last night when London came home" - Hazel I rubbed my eyes and took a cup of coffee. "What's with the name thing" - Melissa "She started it" - Hazel "Yeah because I didn't know if you already have one. So I went with this outfit. "HEY LA. We need to go!!" - Rudy "Yeah!!" - Hazel I took my phone and my purse and headed to downstairs. We went outside. "Should we take Audi?" - Melissa "Yeah. "It's gorgeous" - Hazel "I know now come on. We have to open 10" - Rudy "Why 10am?" - Hazel "Because we decided that today we open little late. Usually we open around 8am and close around 9pm" - Melissa "So people can come eat whenever they can" - Hazel "Yeah People come here and ask for table if there is a table available, they can go there or if not then we are pretty booked. People do table reservations for us since we are pretty much booked if you just showed up here and ask for a table it's not likely to be available until table comes free. So we have a person on the front door so when people come in, they can help them to right table" - Melissa "Cool. So you have very famous restaurant" - Hazel "Yeah. We have a couple celebrities come here and yeah" - Rudy Rudy went to back room to change her clothes and Melissa just opened some lights "When does the first worker comes here?" - Hazel "I have multiple people working for me. Well on the back of house are chef(kitchen manager), sous-chef(second in command) plus everyone else who works in the kitchen so about 11 people. And the front of house are Maître(manager), sommelier, servers, busser, host, bartenders, Expediter" - Melissa "That's a lot of people" - Hazel "Yeah there is many people but this restaurant is open every day so there is people to do work" - Melissa "How many in one day?" - Melissa "In one day? Umm 21? Or maybe even more. There are lots of people. Usually the Executive Chef is always the same one" - Melissa "Cool" - Hazel "So but let's get this done, come on. Let's go upstairs to my office so we can sign the papers" - Melissa I followed her to the office. She has this amazing look on her office.
Time jump: We signed those papers and I started working immediately. It was already 1pm when Mel came from her office. I was posting on our social media about our today's special. "Hey El. It's pretty full and I was thinking that if you could go and be my host for few hours" - Melissa "I don't know how" - Hazel "It's just my host has to leave for few hours because an emergency. You just have to take customers to the table, look last names for table reservations and look if there a table free and that all is in this tablet" - Melissa "Well okay. I have done everything else so why not" - Hazel I went to the front door by the desk thing. Customers came in. "Hi and Welcome to L'amour de la vie" - Hazel (L'amour de la vie=love of life. I didn't guess any better name but that's good?) "Hello. I should have a reservation" - customer "Yes of course. Can I get your last name?" - Hazel "it's Moss" - Customer "Thank you. Right this way Miss" - Hazel I took her to her table. "Server will be with you shortly" - Hazel I went back to the front door and Rudy came over to me. "Was that Kate moss?" - Rudy "Yeah I guess. Why?" - Hazel "Do you not know who that woman was La" - Rudy "Should I London?" - Hazel "She is a supermodel" - Rudy "Okay. Sorry" - Hazel "Well it's okay. I have to show you around and stuff" - Rudy "Yea" - Hazel "Yeah it would be great to get to know you more" - Rudy She smiled and walked away.
Time jump: it's a 5pm My shift ended and we got home. "What are you guys doing?" - Hazel "Thomas is coming" - Melissa "Nothing" - Rudy "Okay. Well I'm going to swim so bye" - Hazel I went to change into bikini and went to swim outside. I listened some Billie's songs and sing with it. Rudy walked out and sat on the bench. "Can I ask you something" - Rudy "Of course" - Hazel "Why did you move to London, if you had amazing life in La" - Rudy "I wasn't safe there" - Hazel "What do you mean" - Rudy "Well there's this man who tried to kill me, he raped me and beat me. Apparently my father owes him and has some business with him. So he almost killed me and when I got out of the hospital, maybe little over a week later he broke into our home. So detective said that I should move to a different country and no one except my family and you guys know. I wasn't safe there and no one around me was safe" - Hazel "I'm so sorry. I promise I won't tell anyone" - Rudy "I know thanks. Well when all this is over, I can go back and maybe me and my girl has a chance to love each other again. I love her and I really hope that everything goes well" - Hazel "Nice" - Rudy We went quiet. Then "hostage" started playing. "Uu I love this song!" - Rudy She started singing so I joined her. After the song ended she smiled. I got up from the pool and sat on the edge of it. "You have an amazing voice" - Rudy "Speak for Yourself" - Hazel "Billie Eilish has a great voice. You ever met her?" - Rudy "Yeah couple times" - Hazel "I met her once when she performed here. She was so nice to me" - Rudy "Yeah she is pretty amazing" - Hazel "You a fan?" - Rudy "Yeah kinda. I love her music" - Hazel "Me and my sister are her fans. Where did you met her" - Rudy "Remember when I told you that I live with my mother's best friend?" - Hazel "Yeah. I wanted to ask about that why?" - Rudy "My parents died when I was 5, but anyway. Well my mother's best friend name is Maggie and she has 2 kids and husband. Those kids are Billie and Finneas" - Hazel Akwardddd!! "WHAT?" - Rudy "Yeah" - Hazel "Wow. That's cool. So that's why your face looks so familiar, I have seen you in Billie's instagram" - Rudy "Yeah. I can't wait to see her again" - Hazel I looked down to the water. "Hold on" - Rudy I turned my face to look at her.
