NEXT MORNING
Currently, sitting in a chair drinking coffee was none other than y/n while he was listening to the report Jeanne D'Arc was giving him about the ogres.
Taking a sip of his coffee, he responded saying.
Gilgamesh: *Sipping his coffee* [So all the ogres have been moved?]
Jeanne: [Yes. After sticking around for a little while, we found a couple Majin and orcs trampling the village!]
Gilgamesh: (So it has already begun....) [Alright, I will look into this Majin... Head back and help the ogres adjust while I deal with this whole mess...]
Jeanne: [Right! I will leave the rest to you, master!]
After saying that, she cut the connection and headed to help her alter version with the ogres.
Once he placed his mug down, he looked up and saw shizue coming out dressed and ready for today. With a quick glance, she spoke up, asking.
Shizue: *smiles* So where to first?
Gilgamesh: *sighs* We first have to head to Fuze and see how many problems these orcs are causing, and then we will head to Jura to get rid of these mongrels.
Shizue: *nods* I see, then are we heading out now?
Gilgamesh: *nods* Yes, I just got done talking to Jeanne, so we can leave now.
Once they packed everything, they headed to the guild where Fuze works at. Along the way, shizue spoke up, asking.
Shizue: *glances at him* You usually can tell the future, so there must be something in the forest that interests you.
Gilgamesh: *flinches and looks away* So what if there is?
Shizue: *smiles playfully* Then could you tell me?
Gilgamesh: *sighs and shakes his head* Sorry, it's a secret. You will have to wait and find out!
Shizue nodded in understanding since whenever y/n was this secretive, it meant that it was a very big deal. Though, when she first learned that he had such ability from the servants, she was surprised and confused about why he never told her.
Though, after a lengthy conversation, she found out that he hadn't used it since, in his words, "Why know everything? You will never be able to enjoy life". Though he did explain that he only used it on something he hadn't expected and decided to unseal the skill and take a peak.
Before she could continue thinking about that, however. Y/N broke her out of her thoughts and said.
Gilgamesh: Though I can tell you that trip will be very interesting.
Shizue: *smiles* Then I can't wait to see how interesting it will be!
After 30 minutes, they both arrived at the guild and headed to Fuzes office after being checked in by clerk working at the front desk. Once they opened the door, they saw Fuze and a couple adventures sitting down in silence. Once Fuze saw y/n and shizue, he smiled, stood up, and said.
Fuze: *bows* It's nice to see you again, Gilgamesh, shizue!
Gilgamesh: *approaches him and shakes his hand* it's nice to see you again Fuze.
Shizue: *smiles and bows slightly* Yes, it's nice to see you as well, fuze-san.
Once they finished, catching up. They sat down with y/n being the first one to ask.
Gilgamesh: *glances at the three people sitting across from him* Who are these three?
Fuze: *smiles* These are a couple of adventures I had brought here to escort you through the Jura forest. *looks at three with them tensing up* You three introduce yourselves!
Once they heard they could introduce themselves, the only girl in the group stood up with a cheerful smile and said.
Ellen: *Smiles* Hey! My name is Ellen, I hope we get along!
Gido: *stands up* Names gido! Pleasure to meet you!
Kaval: *stands up as well* Names Kaval, and I am the leader of this party!
Shizue: *nods and smiles* It's nice to meet you as well.
Fuze: *waves hand around* Alright with introductions over, we need to talk about what's happening in the great forest of Jura...
After saying that, the three immediately sit down while y/n stares at Fuze with a serious expression, asking.
Gilgamesh: *serious* It's about the orc lord, am I right?
Fuze: *nods* Yes, I recently just got the report, but from how it looks, I would say a demon lord is at play...
Gilgamesh: *leans back and crosses his arms* It seems I was right.... *sighs* Alright then, that just makes me going there that much-needed. *glances at Fuze* Anything else I will need to know?
Fuze: *glances at Kavals party* Yea, when I sent them back there a second time, they came across a talking slime...
Shizue immediately realized that this may be what y/n was talking about, which made her think.
Shizue: *cups her chin* (A talking slime.... It's probably a unique monster, though I wonder....)
Before she could delve deeper into her theory, y/n broke her out of her thoughts, saying,
Gilgamesh: *nods* I see, quite the interesting thing. *stands up* Well, I will keep an eye out about this "talking slime". Though I suggest leaving right now before it gets dark. (It seems they somehow survived without shizues' help.... Shocking.)
Fuze: *nods* Yes. Have safe travels, you two! *turns to kavals team* I don't want to hear you gave a hero a hard time, so listen to everything Gilgamesh and Shizue have to say, got it?!
Kaval, Gido, and Ellen: *nods rapidly* Yes, boss!
After a couple more minutes of talking y/n, shizue and kavals party left the guild and started heading towards the great forest of Jura.
...
While shizue was preparing herself for whatever may happen, Kavals party was goofing around on the carriage heading towards Jura. Though Y/N had only one thought.
Gilgamesh: *sitting next to shizue* (I hope you're prepared, Rimuru Tempest. The future isn't bright for you, neither for those close to you...)
Unknown to everyone, y/n looked into the future and saw only one viable timeline. Though it wasn't a favorable one for the cute slime.
