NEXT DAY
After last night's festivities, Rimuru and y/n were currently in his office, alone. As y/n asked to talk alone about something important.
Making sure no one was ease dropping, y/n spoke up and said.
Gilgamesh: *Sitting in a seat* Now, you don't have a human form, do you?
Rimuru: *Confused* Uh no, I don't! (What's he getting at?)
Gilgamesh: *Grins* Then, let me make you a new body so you can take human form again!... After all, you were once human!
Rimuru looked at him in shock on how he knew he was human before he got reincarnated! Rimuru immediately asked Great Sage how he would know such a thing.
Great Sage: Awnser: It is most likely a skill that can discern everything about someone!
Rimuru: *Shocked* (W-What!? He has a skill like that!?.... Now I kinda feel naked when knowing all my moves, weaknesses, etc, is able to be viewed by him...) *Fakes Coughs* I-I see! Well, if you could, then it would be much appreciated!
Gilgamesh: *Nods and puts his hand out* Then watch and be amazed!
One thing y/n learned all those years back was Golem Crafting. With Golem Crafting, y/n could make bodies for souls. Though, after having Raphael analyze it, y/n now was able to make an almost human like body. But he needed enough knowledge of an already preexisting body to make one.
Gilgamesh: *Magic starts forming a body* (Using magisteal for the body is good, but this magic is completely worthless to me...)
Ever since his battle with Guy three years ago, y/n also spent more time on learning all sorts of magic and mastering all the skills he currently possessed to get stronger. The only reason he did this was because what Shirou Emyia said to Gilgamesh in Fate made him realize it, too.
Gilgamesh: *Magic stops and a body looking like shizue is in front of both of them* (The original Gilgamesh was sort of a one trick pony. Though having access to everything may not mean I am not just a one trick pony, though neglecting other ways to get stronger is stupid. Almpst, any fan fiction protagonist always ignores such an easy way to get stronger!)
One thing y/n always hated about fan fiction was because almost all authors made it seem like they couldn't learn that world's system, which made no sense to him. If you're putting them in a different world, then they should get access to their system of power!
Before y/n could continue, Rimuru said in a surprised tone to y/n. Causing him to break out of his thoughts.
Rimuru: *Jumps over to the body* Woah!! I didn't think you actually could do that!
Gilgamesh: *Scoffs* Don't think of me as some low class being. I have far surpassed such simple magic!
Rimuru: *Rolls his non existing eyes* (This guy is going to be a headache!) Well, here goes nothing!
After saying that, Rimuru jumped onto the body and expanded his slime form, devouring it whole. After a moment of silence, suddenly a puff of smoke appears where Rimuru was sitting. After it cleared, y/n could only smirk as he saw Rimuru in his human form look around his new transformation in awe!
Gilgamesh: *Watches with a smirk on his face* (It seems it worked! Though I had no doubt it would but I wonder if he will grow stronger from my upgrades I gave to the golem...)
Even though y/n didn't give him too many upgrades, he could only hope that this would help the slime grow strong enough to protect his people.
Once Rimuru finally finished assessing his current body, he turned to y/n and asked.
Rimuru: *Confused* Why do I have the body of a little kid?
Gilgamesh: *Raises his eyebrow* I made the body display how strong you are. If you're in a kid form, then that means you aren't at your peak yet! (At least that's how I made it since it worked similarly for him in the anime and manga...)
Rimuru nodded, understanding some of what he said while Great Sage had to explain the rest to the poor, confused slime.
Though, when Rimuru finally finished talking to Great Sage, he decided to ask y/n something since he saw no better time.
Rimuru: Hey, uh, how did you get here by chance? *Realizes* I-I mean how did someone such as yourself find himself here in another world? (Phew! Almost told him that he is a fictional character!)
Rimuru has seen his fare share of anime and manga, which made him know very well that telling someone your fictional never ends well. Though what the slime didn't know was that y/n just sat there amused, knowing full well what he meant.
After a quick chuckle, y/n responds and says.
Gilgamesh: *Looks out the office window* I am not too sure. One moment, I was ruling my kingdom, and the next, I was here! Though I assume I probably died due to lack of sleep... (Using part of Caster Gilgameshs story is better than coming up with something...)
Rimuru: *Surprised* Wait, seriously!? (Damn! I didn't know that back then, Kings worked so hard!)
Though Rimuru did remember someone talking about Gilgamesh dying from lack of sleep. Which at first made Rimuru laugh since the man was pretty much spoiled and didn't need to do anything in his eyes. Though now hearing about it from what he thinks is Gilgamesh himself, it made him realize that even the strongest can die from lack of sleep.
Rimuru: (I guess I will have to make sure I don't overwork myself and end up dying a second time! That would be beyond embarrassing!)
Before Rimuru could ask further about what happened, Gobta came into the room running and said in a rushed tone.
Gobta: *Panting* L-Lord R-Rimuru! We have a bunch of lizard men at the entrance requesting an audience with you!
This caught Rimuru off guard while y/n just sat there listening while silently thinking of something that went unnoticed by both Rimuru and Gobta.
Gilgamesh: *Sighs* (Let's hope you grew an actual brain, Gabiru...)
Once Rimuru understood what happened from Gobta, everyone left and headed towards the lizard men. While Rimuru was hoping for it to be resolved with no headaches included, y/n just hoped that giving that name to Gabiru was not a mistake.
