Deep within the Jura Forest was a man wearing a fancy suit and a weird bird mask. Said man was tapping his cane on the ground in annoyance while the gigantic orc next to said man waited patiently without moving.

Having enough of waiting, the man wearing the bird mask speaks up in an agitated voice.

Gelmud: *Punches a nearby tree* Damnit! What is taking our reinforcement so long to get here!?

While Gelmud continued to lash out at the nearby wildlife, the Orc Lord decided to ask something of the angry Majin.

Geld: *Opens eyes* Hmmm... Why do we need reinforcements?

Hearing the Orc Lord's question, Gelmud stopped his tantrum, turned around, and answered the Orc Lord's question.

Gelmud: Do you not understand how strong Gilgamesh is!? *Walks up to him* Gilgamesh is known far and wide to be so strong that not even the top of the Demon Lords could even hope to kill!! *Sighs* Look, even if you fought him... You would still lose...

This shocked Geld since he had never seen his "Father" so frantic before. Though he still had lingering doubts about this Gilgamesh.

Geld: *Confused* I still don't understand. He is just a weak human, so why is he so dangerous?

Gelmud: *Shakes in anger* You st-

Before Gelmud could finish his sentence, they both heard footsteps approaching.

Turning around, they both saw what looked like to be a woman with cracks on her body while her face was covered by a giant golden animal helmet.

However, what they noticed was that their entire bodies were screaming at them! Telling them to run! Which made both take an unconscious step back while the girl spoke in an emotionless tone.

???: I assume you are the ones I am supposed to meet here?

Seeing as she wasn't hostile, Gelmud assumed she was the reinforcement Clayman sent. Fixing his suit, he spoke to her in a questioning tone.

Gelmud: *Raises an eyebrow* That depends. Are you the one Clayman sent?

The unknown girl smiled slightly and said.

???: Yes. You may call me Draco...

The now-named Draco stood still while Gelmud nodded and continued the conversation while Geld tried to stop his instincts from getting himself killed.

Gelmud: *Smiles* Excellent! Now I assume you must be very strong if you can defeat 'him'!

Draco knew what Gelmud was talking about. After all, she has heard the tales of Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes.

Though they weren't the tales made by the people here. She knew of him from the throne of heroes, the place where all heroic spirits are recorded.

Breaking out of her thoughts, Draco reassured him that he had nothing to worry about.

Draco: You have nothing to fear, I alone can kill him without breaking a sweat.

The reason she had so much confidence was simple. She knew of his skills and noble phantasms. So she had complete confidence that she could outmatch him and kill him quite easily. After all, once a heroic spirit's name is known, they are pretty much easier to kill.

Just seeing part of her aura alone made Gelmud nod and say.

Gelmud: *Nods* Yes, that's good! With you on our side, we will have nothing to fear!

SCENE CHANGE

Currently, the entire village of Rimuru is standing at the front of the village. Saying goodbye to their leader and who would accompany him.

Rigurd: *Crying* Please be safe, Lord Rimuru!

Rimuru: *Waving his slime hand around* You don't need to worry! I have the dire wolves and our new friends with me!

Even though Rigurd knew Lord Rimuru would be fine. He couldn't help but worry since his instincts were telling him something was wrong.

However, he nodded and stayed silent since he had no proof that anything would happen.

Watching from afar was none other than y/n and Shizue. With a giggle appearing on Shizues face, y/n chuckled as well before he stopped and asked his wife a question.

Gilgamesh: *Stops laughing and looks at her* Are you sure you don't want to come? It would be a lot more fun if you were there...

Shizue stopped laughing and looked at him with a sigh, escaping her lips before she said.

Shizue: *Sighs* You know better than I that this town will be defenseless if we leave it without anyone to guard it.

Y/N knew she was right. Even though he wanted to have an adventure like old times together. He couldn't just leave the goblins defenseless either.

Gilgamesh: *Nods* I understand. It's a shame that we couldn't have an adventure like old times...

Shizue looked up at him with a smile and said.

Shizue: *Smiles* I know, but maybe next time we go on vacation, we could go on an adventure like old times.

They both know better than anyone that when you live one life. You can never truly accept the other. Y/N knew this more than anyone could ever know.

Gilgamesh: *Looks at the sun rising* (Since coming here, I have experienced so many new things that I could never go back to my old life... I know I shouldn't say this, but I am happy I died the way I did. If I didn't, then I would never have had this amazing journey thus far...)

Even though y/n didn't hate his old life, he still couldn't see himself ever going back to such a boring and mundane life anymore. After all, he had people here he couldn't see a world without them.

However, before he could think further. He heard Rimuru announce that they were leaving.

With a regretful sigh, y/n looked back at Shizue and said.

Gilgamesh: If I'm not back in two weeks, then assume the worst and prepare the servants for a battle to stop the orcs.

Shizue: *nods* Right! You better not die on me, or I will find a way to revive you and kill you all over again!

Gilgamesh: *Laughs a little* I see; well, I'd best not die then.

Shizue: *Kisses him on the cheek* Good luck.

Y/N smiled and kissed her as well before he mounted his dire wolf and waved goodbye to Shizue while leaving with the rest of the soldiers.

Though he had one last thought before he lost sight of Shizue.

Gilgamesh: (Let's get this over with so I can return to her...)

As y/n lost sight of Shizue, he looked forward and rode with the rest of the soldiers. Heading to save the Lizardmen and kill the Orc Lord!

What y/n didn't know was that he had bigger problems coming his way. Problems that will shape the future as he knows it!
