"What does Endeavor want from me?" You thought. That thought just kept playing on repeat like it's on a loopty-loop roller coaster. You just sit in the chair in his office, waiting for Endeavor to speak. But not a muscle moved in his body. just stared at me, looking like you just committed a crime. "Okay, I have to break this silence...what do you want with me?" You blurt out out without thinking. Endeavor stares at you for a few moments. "I believe you already know, y/n." Endeavor says. "No, I really don't!" You say. Your tone is angry, clearly obvious you don't know what he's talking about. You slam your fist on his desk. "Explain." You demand. Your tone sharp and intimidating..but not for Endeavor. This guy doesn't give two shits about what you have to say. Sure he's nice sometimes but he looked pissed. It practically revealed he hated your guts. "No attachments with your partner!" He says. His tone almost as sharp as yours was. You rack your brain, realizing he's talking about..."Hawks?" You say. Endeavor nods. "Exactly. You can't work with someone if you like them. Our rule is no attachments!" He says. "But why not? I don't really like him that way anymore." You say. You look away, clearly lying about what you had said. Endeavor senses your lie, almost as if he's a the mind reader here and not you. "Whatever. I've known you since you were 14, I knew you liked him." He says. You had to admit you actually did have a bit of a crush on him still. But come on..he's Hawks, who wouldn't have the hots for him? "No attachments... Can you promise me that." Endeavor says. His tone seems that he's begging you not to be with Hawks. You really don't want to promise..but you have to. You just nod. "Good," Endeavor says. "Now get out please." You sigh, standing up and headed out of his office. You couldn't shake your mind off why Endeavor didn't want you to be with Hawks. You just pushed the thought away and looked on the bright side of things. Plus, you get to work with you dreamboat Hawks!....That's good news....right?......
