The time was 8:53 am. The sun was in the sky and the street was crammed with busy werewolves. Neeru's Tavern was swimming with all sorts of wolves, rich or poor. Their in-house bakery was lined up with people waiting for their piece of freshly baked goodies. Conversely, at the rear side of the popular business was a different line of werewolves.

Thirty young omegas had lined up in front of the tavern's back door, awaiting its opening. Some were rich, some were poor. Some were excited and eager while some were unenthusiastic. Some had the new term jitters while some didn't want to stand under the not-so-hot sun for a stupid class their parents had forced them to join.

Regardless, among the plethora of omegas collectively waiting for their enrollment one was waiting for something else entirely.

Hansung, with the two coins of silver in his waist satchel, that his husband had oh-so-lovingly given him this morning, was busy scouting for a particular omega. In the sea of thirty omegas, finding the one, who he didn't even know what she looked like, was as easy as finding a needle in a haystack.

The small bulky oak door opened with a loud thud. Grandma Neeru along with her trusted young apprentice walked out the door.

"Welcome, everyone. Now before we start the enrollment. I want to warn you. This class is not a children's play. If you don't feel up for it leave at this instance. I don't want lazy students in my class. When you enter my class I want you to have three and only three goals in mind. The goals of learning my recipes and techniques, and most importantly becoming a better cook by the end of this two-week class. Although that is if you can finish it," Grandma addressed the new, to-be students in her thundering, challenging and stern voice.

Snapping her fingers at her assistant she ordered her, "Beatrix, chop-chop, get the enrollment rolling." The timid and scared assistant nodded readily before the old lady did an about-turn and walked into her holy sanctum.

One by one the line moved forward with each omega giving their name and age to the assistant who wrote them down in her journal. Upon submitting their entry fees they were led inside through the back door.

Hansung stood to a side and near the assistant having his ears perked up, listening to the names being enrolled.

"Aera Chang, twenty years old," A grumpy voice spoke up. Beatrix quickly noted in her journal. They both then held an awkward stare before the assistant broke it with a tired sigh. She stretched her palm out and ordered, "Two silvers or leave. You're holding the line, young lady."

Aera stomped her feet before dipping her hands into her satchel and pulling out the coins her mother had given her, attached with a warning that she must only use it for the enrollment, if she wishes to live to see the next day and her mate. However, the rebellion set in her heart, prevented her from handing over those precious pieces of silver for a class she didn't want to attend.
