CASSIE WATCHED AS mid-November turned to December and although the autumn was her favorite time of year, she did not protest the impending snowy winter.  She shivered, tugging her Hufflepuff hat over her head and closing her warm jacket.

"Blimey, it's freezing." She muttered to herself, walking over to the twins.

Cedric was finally free to go to Hogsmead, however, he had volunteered to go first on his own to surprise Cassie with a late birthday present. She rolled her eyes at his insistence, but let him go.

"Cassie!" Fred exclaimed once she was in their field of view, "Come on, you're on my team." He pulled her to behind a mountain of snow, and she smiled at the rows of snowballs hiding behind it.

"Hey! She's on my team!" George yelled back from across the field.

"Merlin, can't we just throw snowballs at someone else..." Instantly her head snapped up, the second she said that she knew she would regret it as their eyes lit up.

"Come on, let's find Percy's window!" Fred exclaimed, suddenly walking back towards the castle, but a pair of footprints stopped him.

Footprints, coming from seemingly nowhere caught his attention and the person seemed to notice and picked up their pace. Fred and George grabbed them while Cassie followed, laughing.

"Clever, Harry," Fred said, escorting him inside the castle.

"But, not clever enough," George added.

"Besides, we've got a better way." Fred finished.

They all stopped in a part of the castle hidden from view, gazing around before Harry took the cloak off. They handed him a folded-up piece of paper, Cassie leaning against the wall and staring at Harry smugly.

"What's this rubbish," Harry said, looking confusedly at the paper.

"Oh, sweet little Harry-" Cassie began, shaking her head.

"I'm almost taller than you!"

"-so naive, so young, so innocent to a simple piece of 'rubbish'. Isn't that right?" She finished, emphasizing his use of the word rubbish.

"So true," George said, looking solemnly at Harry.

"Too young..." Fred trailed off, looking in the distance. "Rubbish he says. That there's the secret to our success." Cassie nodded at his statement.

"It's a wrench giving it to you, believe me. Cass nearly lost her arm for it!" George added.

"It was dangerous..." Cassie exhaled.

"But we've decided your need's greater than ours. George, if you will..." Fred addressed him, and suddenly George took the piece of paper and tapped his wand on it.
