Y/N POV:
I couldn't believe I walked out this far into the woods for a cat. Don't get me wrong, my cat is my baby, but I regretted not packing any water before I just wandered into the woods trying to search for her. I'd been walking in the same direction, I think, for quite a few hours then. The compass I brought must have been busted, because all I could do was watch the tiny needle slowly spin behind the glass protector.

I was losing hope that I may never see my precious cat again. It was also hitting sunset, and I didn't bother to keep track of time, either. Survival skills? We don't know her. I kept walking, stepping over fallen roots and tree branches. I scanned over the sprouts growing out of the ground, making sure none of them were poison ivy or oak.

I continued letting my thoughts wander, trying to come up with some sort of magical solution to the problem before I stepped on something that emitted some sort of a wet, soggy crunch. Upon looking down, I saw two things. First, a patch of red mushrooms that I had stepped in, now emitting a pinkish spore cloud, and two; my cat's collar. The red leather clasped together by the silver buckle, with the little bell and charm hanging off the front. If someone found my cat, if it was still alive, they wouldn't even know who it belonged to...

Before I could fully process what had happened, and the fact that finding my cat was going to be nearly impossible now, the spores had infiltrated my lungs, and rendered me pretty much immobile. The smell and feeling of it clouding my airways was too much to bear, and my senses began to fog and shut down. I let myself lay down on the forest ground, maybe to be left there.

The only reason I'm not dead right now is because of Mychael.

Upon opening my eyes, I saw the ceiling of a cabin. My first thought was that I was either dead, or kidnapped. It didn't help that the spores had pretty much paralyzed me, and I couldn't move my limbs, but I could move my eyes. I could still hear, and what I heard was someone shuffling around in the other part of the room. I couldn't move my head to look at the time, so I could only hope they didn't want to hurt me.

They didn't, and instead, they walked over to my bedside and pressed a cup to my lips, which turned out to be a strange mix of different teas and herbs. They cupped my chin, and told me to swallow. Not that I had a choice, but I wasn't about to fight it, since the feeling in my limbs had since then began to come back.

Propping myself up on my elbows, I was able to make out this person who brought me here. A boy with blonde hair, and bangs covering his eyes. The most striking features were his green skin and what appeared to be horns on the top of his head. I wouldn't prod at it then, because he had just saved me, after all.
