𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 1 "Rainy Night"

Tonight is a special night, a celebration for the Company where I'm going to start working soon.
Only a day has passed since I came to London and Lizzy is still with me, I wanted her to stay over here last night and now she's helping me to wear that so-called shiny dress of my mom's cause it was the only suitable dress for such celebrations.

Lizzy starts giggling as I'm standing right in front of the big mirror in my room looking at myself.

"I'm sorry your Majesty! You look absolutely majestic!"

I turn my head towards Lizzy and look at her with a frown.

"Would you like to stop joking around? By the way, isn't it a bit too..."

"A bit too shiny?"

"Too tight"
I said as I looked at Lizzie who was as fascinated by this dress as if it was for The Queen Victoria.

I take a deep breath and stare at myself in the mirror again, everything must be going perfectly tonight because the CEO of the Company is going to be there tonight.
In the big hall, they'll hold the ceremony.

I stare at the white lace dress I was wearing, I can't believe that it once belonged to my mother, and now, oh God!!!

"Stop acting like a Cinderella."

"Ah, Lizzy! You don't get it right?"

Lizzy stared at me with a frown.

"It's just... everything has to be perfect tonight! I'm gonna meet my boss and my colleagues for the first time!!"

She smiled and took my face with her hands.

"Look honey, I know you are very stressed and at the same time excited for tonight, but you have to control your feelings first, you just gotta go there and show them who's the prettiest and the hottest girl in the Company!"

I smile and hold her hands.

"I wish you could be with me, imagining how I'm gonna be alone in a huge hall is just-"

"Hey dummy, there's no way for such a charming girl like you to stay alone in such a place, you gotta be worried about men stalking you."

We start laughing, Lizzy smirks while looking at my long white hair.

I'm trying to put myself together, working in that Company was all I wanted, to have my own life, now that I have my own house, nothing is stopping me.

"Let's go wild tonight!"

I get out of the car and take a close look at the hall in front of me.
It even had a big garden, men and women laughing together in their shiny clothes while they were drinking their reddish wine.

It is very crowded and for a moment I feel like I might get lost in the crowd at any moment.
All of them with classy clothes and especially the men who were looking at me, damn it, I haven't entered yet!

Trying to calm myself as Lizzy said, then I took some steps and finally, I got the courage to enter the hall and look around.
A large table full of cakes, glasses of wine, beer, and if I'm not mistaken vodka was right in the middle of the garden.

I take one of the glasses of vodka and drink a sip of it.
Thinking I'm gonna get drunk tonight but who cares? Besides, I don't know anyone here.
Maybe I should go join the conversation of the four women who are right in front of me.
Or what about men?
Definitely not. They're already looking at me with their dirty minds.
