You yawned and stretched your arms, banging your hand right on the cold leather. "Ow!" You wince, grabbing the limb with your undamaged one.

There's snickering on your left, to which you demand pointedly, "What are you laughing at?"

As you look over to hear out one of the stupid responses you always get, you're blinded by the spitting image of a sun. Taylor's blonde hair is practically glowing in the rays of the early morning, and her toothy grin is even brighter.

"You're just cute, is all. And clumsy, and kinda stupid- but in a good way, like a cute little ginger cat."

You gave your girlfriend a small eye roll, but giggled at her words. I mean, she had a point. Despite her teasing, she releases one hand off of the steering wheel to gently caress the spot where you bumped yours. As she turns back to the road ahead of her, you just admire how adorable she looked when she was focused on something. She'll protest if she finds out, but whenever she sneaks out of bed to fiddle with the piano in the living room, you secretly watch her from the stairs.

Taylor catches your gaze in the corner of her eye, and lets out a small and flustered laugh before looking away. "What?"

"Nothing... just thinking about how excited I am to have you allll to myself tonight," you say while purposefully drawing out your words in a sultry tone.

The blonde scoffs amusedly and sits up straighter. "You act like I don't see you every night. Well anyways, keep it in your pants babe, we've got a few hours left to go." She pats your leg that was bouncing up and down.

You huff in faux annoyance, and look out the window. "You're no fun."

Suddenly, the car swerves to the right and makes a stop right on the side of the road. You're spooked by the unexpected incident and turn to Taylor.

"Wha-," you begin, but stop mid-sentence when you notice her eyes darken. She was practically hanging over you now, passing the drink holder and into the passenger seat.

"I'm no fun, am I?" Taylor teases in a low and raspy voice, partly due to how early it was, and also just because she knows you like it.

You give her a shy smile, "Hey babe, did I ever tell you you're so gorgeous?"

"Oh come on, answer my question.. I'm no fun?" She says in a singsong tone while slowly moving her fingers under your sweatshirt.

Slapping her hand playfully, you blurt, "Okay okay," you giggle, "You're plenty fun, now get driving you idiot.. jeez."

With a hum in victory, pulls her hand out and cups your jaw, pressing a soft kiss onto your lips before plopping back into the driver's seat.

When you two get rolling again, you're still not over the moment. It had been quiet for a while, only soft tunes coming from the car speakers. Glancing over at her, you trail over her outline.

"Y'know, you should probably drink more water."

Taylor looks at you curiously, "Why?"

"Y-you know... all that singing, n' stuff," you answer nervously, your brain finding it hard to come up with a valid reason right now.

"N' stuff?"

"Never mind." You lean over and press the volume higher button a few times, to which she lowers again.

"What is it?"

"Nothing! I'm just concerned for your throat," she seems to believe you when you say that, and doesn't hear what you added under your breath, "And mine later."
