hi! this was so fun to write :D
(lowk got inspiration for this from a regina george c.ai bot... )
Imagine the typical popular "mean" girl—always looking picture perfect, with clouds of perfume and sparkles following her every step, leaving a trail of broken hearts in her wake. Unnecessarily rude and snarky, surrounded by her posse of stupid friends, and guys lining the block just to get a look at her. An abnormality of nature; a girl that god seemed to have put extra effort into, to make sure her life is flawless. In your school, people know her by the name Taylor.
And then we have you.
A background-character-in-a-two-second-clip kind of girl. Always staying quiet, sitting in the back row, lingering in the shadows. No one really knows you're even there, or if they do happen to notice, it's only to ask you to pick up the paper airplane they threw across the room and send it back to them. You live a peaceful life, to say the least. Usually you don't get into too much trouble, since most people ignore you. Though there are those few token kids who just can't seem to leave anyone alone, especially not you.
To no one's surprise, one of these "token kids" happened to be none other than Taylor Swift. On that fateful day she caught you crying under a tree in the courtyard, you struck her fancy. Something about you made you fun to mess with, a new target to fulfill her sick need to give love and take it away. Whenever the blonde would see you, she'd make it her sole purpose to torment you. Poking fun at your outfit, tripping you, "accidentally" throwing gum wrappers at you because she mistook you for a trash can.
Well, only at first.
At some point during the long months where she decided to keep seeking you out, she developed some sort of fondness for you. Or perhaps it was there from the start, you've always noticed how she seemed somehow gentler with her tyranny against you rather than your other classmates. And while you certainly shouldn't have been accepting her behavior towards you, she's pretty... and you're a sucker for pretty girls. Unfortunately. I mean, it's not that bad though. At least she never pushed you into a locker.
So that ferocity turned to flirting, and she made it very clear to you. Her little group of friends had long forgotten about you, you didn't leave much of an impression on them. If they happened to randomly choose you as their prey however, Taylor would redirect them to someone else. Someone "more fitting," so she says. She herself stopped teasing you. Well, not exactly. She still did, just in a different way. Behind the backs of watchful eyes, she found ways to get to you. She left notes in your locker, dropped erasers with her number on it conveniently next to you, and slipped extra cookies in your lunch (via asking the lunch ladies). It was a side you hadn't seen, one you didn't know someone like her could even be capable of. Successfully being swayed, you fell for her.
Now there was only one problem. Taylor was the most caring, adoring girlfriend—in secret. She had a reputation to uphold, a name to protect. To be seen with you? Let's just say it's not looking pretty, and it's even worse since you're a girl. Taylor doesn't exactly like letting people know about her preferences, and sometimes it makes you question if she's still on the fence about it. It hurts to see her ignore you every time you cross paths in the hall, having to watch her talk it up with her friends and pretend she'd never seen you in her life. No matter how much you hated it, you couldn't let go of her, since she also spoils you rotten. The girl showers you with love and attention, leaves you gifts and chocolates for no reason, and is just... the best. So you stay, you stay despite the fact you only ever get half of her. Half her time, half her personality.
