"Don't miss me too much. I'll be back before you know it. With all my love, Lucas Da SIlva." I threw the bouquet and note into the garbage bin and called Janet through the intercom, "Janet, next time you get anything from Lucas. Throw it away." Seriously that guy was annoying. "Alright, boss. Don't forget about the meeting in fifteen minutes."

I entered the meeting room, my irritation with Lucas still simmering beneath the surface. Janet had already set up the presentation, and my team was assembled, waiting expectantly. Ruth and Xavier sat near the head of the table, their expressions a mix of anticipation and determination.

I took a deep breath, focusing on the task at hand. "Alright, everyone. Let's get started."

"Good morning, team," I began, my tone professional and direct. "Today, we have some exciting developments to discuss. As you know, we've been in talks with Outfittings, a new fashion company under the Dorato Group, led by Ruth King and her brother Xavier. We're here to outline a strategic plan for their entry into the market and how we can collaborate to ensure mutual success."

I gestured to Ruth, who stood and gave a brief overview of Outfittings' vision and goals. She spoke with passion, outlining their commitment to sustainable fashion and innovative designs. Xavier nodded in agreement, adding a few points about their target demographics and market strategy.

"Thank you, Ruth and Xavier," I said, taking the floor again. "Our collaboration with Outfittings will be multi-faceted. We'll be providing them with logistical support, including manufacturing and distribution channels, as well as marketing expertise. This is a unique opportunity for both companies to leverage each other's strengths."

I clicked through the slides, detailing our plan. "First, we'll start with a limited-edition launch to create buzz and gauge market response. This initial collection will be a joint effort, featuring designs from both Starz Fashion and Outfittings. We'll focus on high-quality materials and sustainable practices, aligning with Outfittings' brand ethos."

One of my senior designers raised a hand. "How will we manage the design process, Isla? Will our teams be working together?"

"Excellent question," I replied. "Yes, our design teams will collaborate closely. We'll set up joint workshops and brainstorming sessions to ensure a seamless integration of styles and ideas. This is about merging our creative visions to create something truly unique."

Xavier leaned forward, his eyes meeting mine with a hint of that earlier conflict. "And what about marketing? How do we plan to differentiate this collaboration from other brands in the market?"

"We'll utilize a multi-channel marketing strategy," I explained, clicking to the next slide. "This includes social media campaigns, influencer partnerships, and targeted advertising. We'll also host exclusive launch events in key cities to generate media coverage and consumer interest. Our goal is to position Outfittings as a fresh, innovative brand with the backing of Starz Fashion's established reputation."

Ruth nodded appreciatively. "It sounds like a solid plan, Isla. We're excited to see how this unfolds."

I turned to my team, emphasizing the importance of this collaboration. "This partnership is not just about business; it's about setting new standards in the fashion industry. I expect each of you to bring your best to this project. Let's show the world what Starz Fashion and Outfittings can achieve together."

As the meeting wrapped up, I felt a sense of accomplishment. Despite the personal frustrations and underlying tensions, we had a clear, actionable plan. Ruth and Xavier seemed satisfied, and my team was energized and ready to take on the challenge.

I glanced at Xavier one last time, catching a fleeting look of something softer beneath his professional demeanor. Maybe, just maybe, this collaboration would be the beginning of not only a successful business venture but also a deeper understanding between us.

The meeting adjourned, and as everyone filed out, Janet approached me. "Great presentation, Isla. I think this partnership is going to be a game-changer."

"Thanks, Janet," I said, feeling a rare moment of optimism. "Let's make it happen."
