"Why." Punch. "Can't." Punch. "He." Punch. "Stop." Punch. "Interfering in my life?" Isla screamed as she punched a punching bag.
"Isla, calm down," Noah tried to soothe her. "I don't get it, Noah. Why is it that when my life is amazing and perfect he has to come and ruin it?" she inquired, sitting down on the chair near Noah. "He wants what's best for you, Isla."
"Yes, Dad," she replied, rolling her eyes. "I mean, for real. Can't you be amazing brothers and support me against Dad?" she asked.
I cleared my throat from where I stood. "Isla, can we talk?" She exhaled sharply and replied, "Sure. What do you want, Mr. Fiancé?" I walked up to her, grabbed her arm, and pulled her out of the gym.
[Café Hermes]
"What did you want to talk about?" Isla asked, sipping chamomile tea.
"Us. Well, not us, the plans our parents have for us," I spoke.
Isla laughed like a madwoman. "You think I'm accepting this stuff." She tsked, waving her finger. "I hate you. You hate me. If we marry, we'll be each other's hell. Also, I want to marry someone I love, not someone like you. I admit you are handsome and stuff, but no way do I find you handsome character-wise. You remind me of my dad. A big sexist."
Honestly, I wanted to talk to her to cancel our wedding. Now, since she has teased me so much, I changed my mind. Isla, welcome to hell. I smirked, "Sorry to burst your spirits, but I want to marry you and I always get what I want."
She put her cup down and got up. "I think it's time you add the word 'no' to your dictionary."
I leaned back, my smirk widening. "We'll see about that, Isla. But know this—whether you like it or not, you're not escaping this."
Isla's eyes flashed with anger. "You don't own me, Xavier. I won't be manipulated or controlled by you or anyone else."
I stood up, matching her glare with my own. "This isn't manipulation, Isla. This is reality. And you can either fight it or accept it. Either way, the outcome remains the same."
She stormed out of the café, leaving me behind. Watching her go, I couldn't help but feel a strange mix of frustration and fascination. This woman was a force to be reckoned with, and whether she liked it or not, our paths were now irrevocably intertwined.

Romance"I hate it, Isla." Xavier said stepping closer. "I hate it when you hang around with other guys." I scoffed, "You. Don't. Control. Me." He smirked, "You are mine. Whether you like it or not." He said, leaning forward and resting his head on my neck...
