[Frost Family Mansion]

I watched as Isla walked down the stairs towards me. The color black suited her perfectly. "You look beautiful," I commented. She gave me a small smile, "You don't look half bad." I opened the passenger seat door and waited for her to get in. After she settled, I closed the door and sat before driving to our date location.

The park was one of my favorite spots; a place that held memories of a friend who took care of me when my mom died. He was an amazing person and was always there for me. I often come here to reminisce about the past.

"This place is lovely," Isla said as she walked to the picnic mat that overlooked a river. "How did you find out about it?"

"A friend. He was such a great friend." She quickly sat on the mat, and I sat opposite her, the only thing between us being the food.

"So, favorite color?" I asked out of the blue, not knowing what else to ask.

"Blue. You?"

"Black."

"Favorite car?" she asked. Wow! She's into cars.

"BMW M4."

She raised an eyebrow. "I'd choose a Lambo over a BMW any day."

I laughed, "That'll change when we get married, sweetheart."

She laughed, "Oh, how?"

"Well, sweetie. Why don't we start with the fact that I influence people a lot?"

"Oh really?" she said, moving her head closer to mine. So close that I felt her breath on my face. I didn't know what came over me, but I moved closer, and our lips touched. She placed her hands in my hair and deepened the kiss. Sparks flew everywhere. I placed my hand on her waist and tried to pull her closer, but the food stopped me. She suddenly pulled away.

"What's wrong?" I asked, seeing a blush spread across her face.

"I... I- My position was uncomfortable," she stammered. Oh, God. She was cute.

"It's alright," I said, patting her head. "I think it's better we head back," she said, noticing the pack of grey clouds forming above her head. We packed everything and headed to the car as it started to drizzle.

[On the Drive Back]

As we started driving, the rain grew heavy. My phone rang just then. Not wanting my concentration off the road, I handed my phone to Isla.

"What?" she asked.

"Answer it, sweetie. You'll have to get used to it for the rest of your life."

"Hello," she spoke, putting the call on speaker mode.

"Hello, who are you? Where is Xavy?" my assistant asked.

"In the shower," Isla replied sarcastically.

"Who are you?" my assistant asked once again.

"His fiancée. Why are you calling him at this time in the night?" Isla asked.

"Work. Don't think just because you are Xavy's fiancée, I will respect you. Respect is earned."

"Yeah, whatever. Why did you call?" I interjected.

"Oh, Xavy. You finally are answering my call. There is a problem with the fashion line and I'm trying to reach Ebony, but her assistant told me she took off on leave."

"I'll come to the office now. You'll be alright, right Isla?" I asked her.

"Sure. Sure. Just go and solve the problem."
