When you love someone so deeply that your entire being is devoted to them, the pain of betrayal feels like an unbearable, all-consuming agony. It's as if every promise whispered in the dark, every moment of shared intimacy, has been twisted into a dagger, each memory a fresh wound.

You gave them everything-your heart, your soul, your unwavering trust-and in return, you are met with a betrayal so profound that it shakes the very foundation of your existence.

The love that once brought you unparalleled joy now leaves you reeling in sorrow, questioning every choice, every emotion, every glimpse of hope you once held dear.

The person you trusted with your deepest fears and dreams has become the source of a hurt so profound it feels as if the very air you breathe is laced with poison, and the world you once found solace in is now a landscape of desolation and heartbreak.

Taehyung felt it.

Standing alone in the dimly lit room, the weight of betrayal pressed heavily on his chest, each breath feeling like a struggle against an invisible force. The memories of shared laughter and whispered secrets now felt like cruel reminders of a trust shattered.

He could still see the sincerity in their eyes, hear the promises of forever that once brought warmth to his heart, now twisted into painful echoes.

Anger mingled with sorrow, and he wondered how love, so pure and true, could turn into a source of such deep, searing pain. The person he once held close, was now a stranger, and the future they planned together seemed like a distant, unattainable dream.

Taehyung thought, how could he go to such extents to make someone his? He knows Jungkook's love knows no bounds and that the alpha loves him with every fiber of his being, but doing this? Using these methods to show his love?

He hated and cursed the person who leaked those articles. He loathed and wished misfortune upon the person who sent that threat letter, hoping they would become so unlucky that they would lose everything. Taehyung had no idea that the person was none other than Jungkook-his own love, who supposedly saved him from all these things.

The one that set up the trap pretended to save him from it.

Not knowing, Taehyung's wish did come true-the person who did this had actually lost everything: his world, his pretty, his Taehyung.

It was so humiliating to realize that you know nothing about the person to whom you devoted yourself. It was so agonizing to know that you were not hired because of your talent, but because of the boss's interest in you.

Taehyung felt everything.

Everything of this pain.

Everything of this so-called love.

Taehyung packed up his bag and sighed deeply. He hated going to the office now, a place he once found solace and purpose in. He was always so devoted to his work, passionate about every project. But now, he was either blank with no ideas or lost in a whirlwind of thoughts about Jungkook and what their relationship had become.

With another heavy sigh, he locked up his apartment and made his way downstairs. His hands fumbled through his bag, searching for his car keys. When his fingers finally grasped them, he sighed once more in mild relief. He casually looked up, expecting the usual mundane scene of his apartment's parking lot.

But the sight that welcomed him left him utterly shocked.

Standing there, leaning against his car, was Jungkook. His eyes were filled with a mixture of determination and desperation. Taehyung's breath caught in his throat, and for a moment, he was frozen in place. The memories of their love, the betrayal, and the intense emotions all flooded back in an instant.
