Ch 8: New Demon lords

A week had passed since the misunderstanding with Lubelius. Ainz had thought that Demiurge would have somewhat disagreed with decision of not killing the Ten Saints, but Demiurge had praised him for having such a grand plan. Ainz was wondering what that plan really was since he only did it because he thought it would sadden Shizu and they have a kind of an upper hand in negotiation with Lubelius.

Blumund, Dwargo, Eurazania and Sarion had arrived with some personnel or reinforcement for Tempest. From Sarion side, they had brought the duke and twenty of his soldiers. From Blumund, they had brought Fuze and 25 free guild adventures with 125 soldiers. Dwargo had brought the king and the Pegasis knights. Eurazania brought the Silvia, Albis and 50 soldiers under them. They were all shocked to find that the army had been dealt with in such a short amount of time. They were also shocked when they heard Ainz had evolved into a demon lord.

Ainz tells them that it is ok if they want to annul the treaties. They had told him that they will continue to ally with him since it seemed that he hadn't changed from the evolution and it is good to become an ally of someone strong. They were also shocked when they had found the Ten Saints and holy knights. A meeting was held, the delegates were informed what had happened a week ago. They also agreed with Ainz declaration to Falmuth. They all signed on Ainz's war letter, which the Falmuth kingdom will receive if they disagree with Ainz's proposal.

Gazel says " Aren't you worried that how the western nations will react to you? "

Ainz says " I would be glad if they aren't hostile to my nation, but I am not scared to increase the warzone. "

Fuze says " Our country will send some of its soldiers to assist you. "

Ainz says " I am happy for your offer, but it is unneeded. I have already prepared the necessary soldiers for the war. "

The others nod. They shortly finish the meeting. Ramiris and Bereta shortly arrive.

Ramiris says " You have been invited to the Walpurgus. "

Ainz says " It isn't something out of our expectation. "

Just then, Milim arrives and tells him what Ramiris said.

Ainz says " Ramiris already told me. "

Milim says " No fair. I wanted to tell you myself. "

She then tells why the Walpurgus is being held. It was to see if Ainz is worthy to join the Demon lord Council. Guy was also interested in him since it was the first time there was a world wide declaration of a Demon lord evolution. She then tells him about the other demon lords that will be attending and that he can bring only two escorts. It seems that Luminous will also attend as an escort for Roy Valentine. They then start to discuss who the escorts should be. It had led to chaos that Ainz barely managed to handle.

After a much through discussion, the ones attending had been decided. Rubedo and Demiurge will escort Ainz. Beretta and Treyni will escort Ramiris. Veldora and Diablo will escort Milim. The Walpurgus night will be after three days.

Three days later, The group had felt foreign magic. Milim tells them that it is one Guy's servant. A large door appeared. It was Spatial Magic. A green haired female demon appeared, who immediately snarls at the sight of Diablo. It seems that the two knew each other. She then escorts them through the Gate. They were transported. Ainz sees Guy who was sitting on one of the chairs surrounding the round table. Ainz also does the same. Ramiris and Milim also sit in their respective chair. The escorts stood behind them and near their respective gate. Ainz assessed Guy and was impressed by him since he was using something like False Data Life to conceal himself.

Ainz then starts to watch the others enter on after another. After Ainz's group, Dagruel was the second to enter. He was showing off his aura. It was pretty large no wonder he can fight with Veldora on equal footing. Next was Roy Valentine. After that, Carrion and Frey came. Shortly after, it was Leon Cromwell. He had stopped when he saw Ainz and told him that he remind him of someone. Next was Dino, who started arguing with Ramiris after his arrival. Lastly was Claymen who was being escorted by Kagali and a fox spirit.
