*Santiago's POV*

I watched her eyes light up as she walked through the doors. Closing the door behind me, I walked in behind her and strained my eyes on her igure as she looked around the room. I figured out her love for books from her endless stack of them in her room.

She went over to the corner of the room and stood on her toes as she tries to grab the light pink book. I went behind her and easily grabbed the book into my hand. I felt her body stiffen as I came behind her, knowing the effect I had on her I smiled inwardly. Little did she know she had the exact same effect on me.

Her very well built body turned around to me as she looked up at me with her brown eyes. I handed her the book as her hands reached to grab it but then lifted my arms higher out of her reach with the book still intact. She gasped dramatically and stood back. Xiomara tried to grab the book again but I just kept my arm up and away from her reach. Seeing her short self struggle amused me

"Santiago!" she said seriously

Her brown eyes looked up at me, attempting to be intimidating me though she truly just looked like a lost puppy. We held each others eyes until she finally gave up and huffed. I chuckled and handed her the book. She smiled and took the book from me, she laced her hand with mine as she led us towards the leather couches. Xiomara sat down and I sat down next to her. I patted my leg for her to lie down on to which she did. She snugged against my chest and opened the book

"do you want me to read to you again?" she asks me

I nod my head and she smiles looking back down at the book. Her voice began filling my ears as she read aloud to me. I titled my head back and closed my eyes as my fingers traced patterns onto her thigh. An hour or so later her body had begun to shut down, her voice trailed off as did the book in her hand catching it she jumped up a little

"sleep Mara" I tell her she nods her head and looks at the clock on the wall it read 4pm

She slowly sat up and I held onto the book watching her. She slung her feet and they lightly landed on the floor. Her hair fell perfectly making a curtain around her, she tucked a piece of it behind her ear and looked at me, smiling internally. I ran a hand on her forearm she sighed and looked up at the ceiling, she looked really tired. I watched her sit back and lean her head on my shoulder. She held her hand out for me to take I laced my hand with her

"go somewhere with me?" she whispered I leaned my head on top of hers

"where?" I asked playing her hand

"just come will you" she said moving to the edge of the couch and standing she held a hand for me to take and I took it standing with her

She smiled turning I grab her coat and help her put it on then grabbing her handbag I hold it and offer my arm which she takes smiling we walk to the doors and open the door for her, she walks out and walk after her closing the door behind her. We walk down the hall to the elevator and I click the small silver button. Jenna grabs my arm and leans her head on it as the doors ting and open. We walk in and I press the last silver button. We stood in silence but a good one

The doors open and we walk out. My men were coming in and out of the house as their shifts changed. The guard opened the door for us and I took out Xiomara's car keys unlocking the car as we walked down the stairs. She let go of me and had her hand out

"keys" she demanded

"no" I protested I'm never passenger EVER

"you don't know where we are going" she says

"you can direct me" I tell her

"no keys now" she demands rolling my eyes I hand them to her and she walks to the drivers side
