After Andros told me about Hazel, all I could think about was how to make her feel better

After Andros told me about Hazel, all I could think about was how to make her feel better.

So here I am, making a banquet of food for breakfast in the hopes that food will help her in the way it helps me.

Loading everything on a tray, I head up to Atlas's room. A smile spreads across my lips when I see her curled up between him and Andros, deeply asleep.

The guys smile at me as they sit up against the headboard, both on their phones.

"Is that for us?" Andros gives me a goofy grin. I roll my eyes at him, placing the tray on the bedside table.

"Can you take my place? I need to get up and go to the club," Atlas asks me, his voice low as to not wake Hazel up. I nod, sliding in to bed after he gets out.

I pull Hazel too me, kissing her forehead lightly.

"Hey, spitfire," I whisper.

She yawns and stretches out, her face contorting into a wince as the pain seeps back into her body.

"Easy, angel," Andros kisses her head.

We both help her to sit up against the headboard, trying to make her as comfortable as possible with pillows.

"Hey," she smiles, her voice raspy and raw.

"I made you some breakfast, spitfire," I stroke some of her hair out of her pale face, "Do you think you could eat something?"

She nods her head, yawning slightly.

I grab the tray and place it on the bed, loading a fork with some fresh fruit. Bringing it up to her mouth, I feed her it slowly.

Andros and I both watch her eat before we start to tuck in soon. We sit in silence, not wanting to push her to talk.

She's too vulnerable, right now.

She impresses me by how much she eats, seeming to have a healthy appetite despite the past week.

"Thank you," she smiles at me as she places her fork down. I stay still, surprised, when she leans in and kisses me, her lips soft against mine.

Atlas walks back in from the bathroom, now fully dressed in a suit. He raises his eyebrows in shock when he sees her kissing me.

"Hey, bellissima," he greets her, walking to sit on the side of the bed. She smiles widely at him, causing Andros and I to exchange a curious look over her head.

"Are you going to work?" she tries to hide the disappointment in her voice but we all hear it.

"Only for a little bit, then I'll come back and we can do a movie night or something," he smiles at her before leaning in to kiss her.

She nods and watches as he walks out the room before turning her attention to Andros and giving him a kiss, too.

"I was starting to feel jealous, Angel," he smirks against her lips.
