"We'll talk to Dominik tomorrow," Atlas says as he sets down his empty whisky glass.

"If he can talk," Theo mutters as he down the last of his drink.

"What did you do, T?" Dawson laughs.

"I'm sure he just had a real nice chat with the guy," I tease Theo who glares at me.

"Well, we'll go see Dominik tomorrow... no matter what state he is in," Atlas decides and stands up before walking over to the desk.

I stand up too and head to the door, which provokes Dawson.

"Where you going?" he asks as Theo immerses himself in his phone.

"I'm taking Hazel home. No way she can finish her shift with her jaw like that," I smirk with a wicked glint in my eye. Dawson matches it and nods.

Heading down to the staff changing room, I walk in to see Hazel rooting around the first aid kit.

My gaze softens and guilt creeps in when I realise she's probably looking for some painkillers.

"Hey, angel," she jumps at the sound of my voice but turns around and tries to smile.

I walk over to her and pull her into a hug. I feel her relax against me, her body seeming so small in my arms. She lets out a peaceful sigh as he squeeze her tighter before finally releasing her.

I tilt her head up to look at me, careful to not hurt her jaw.

"Shall we go home, angel?" I ask her softly, noting the tiredness in her eyes and body.

"I don't want to go home but I want to leave," she whispers with a small smile.

I nod and grab her things. I reach for her hand and lead her out the building to my car. She climbs into the passenger seat and rests her head against the window.

I grab the blanket I keep in here for her and make it into a pillow for her to lie on. She accepts it gratefully and places it between her head and the window.

"I know just the place to go," I say and squeeze her knee as I pull away from the club. I see her close her eyes in the corner of my eye and I smile slightly at how cute she is.

It takes about ten minutes until we pull into a drive-thru. I order two milkshakes and place them in the central console.

She seems unaware of her surroundings and I conclude she's fallen asleep as I park up in my favourite spot on the hills. It has the perfect view of the city lights, whilst allowing quiet and sanctuary.

Leaning my seat back, I pull Hazel onto my lap and kiss her face as she wakes from her slumber.

"Hey," she whispers sleepily.

"Hey, beautiful," I kiss her lips softly, "I got you a milkshake."

Her eyes widen and she sits up on my lap, her eyes darting to the two cups in the central console.

I chuckle as she ponders which one to take before grabbing the chocolate milkshake and slurping on it eagerly. I watch as he whole body relaxes instantly at the taste.

"Thank you," she says, her voice sounding somewhat normal now.

"You don't need to thank me, angel," I pull her to lie down on me. She curls up with her head laying on my chest and I pull the blanket over the both of us.

We lay in silence, enjoying each other's company in the quiet.

Earlier plays on my mind and the guilt creeps in until I can't handle it anymore.
