The sun shined bright in the afternoon sky. Cassy woke up from a nap in her room. Exhausted after the festivities of the previous day, capped with her hasty visit to the shed, it was no wonder that she slept in.

Remembering her visit to the shed, she sat up sharply and searched her brain. Had she really gone there or was it a dream? A few seconds of focus and she realized she had truly gone there and played the game.

Now she was glad she did. Maybe if she had not gone in the desperate mood she was in, she would have chickened out. Desperate times required desperate measures. Now she could not wait to find out what the game had in store for her.

Cassy freshened up for the day. She had no where to go. She had no job, no friends. She was alone and she needed to fill that void. At the same time, she wondered why her dare was delaying. She didn't have time for any delays.

Seated in the living room alone, her eyes on the television, she thought of Inara and Zee. Were their dares delayed? She did not think so. She picked up her phone and decided to call Inara but changed her mind.

She was sort of in a competition with them even though they did not know it. Why would she ask them about the game? They already warned her about the consequences. She had experienced the consequences herself.

Asking them about it would rouse their suspicions and they might try to dissuade her or stop her somehow. Although, it was already too late at this point because she played the game already. And it was different this time because she engaged the book as opposed to them giving each other a dare.

Thus, she perished the thought of reaching out to Inara or Zee. She was usually impatient but, she guessed she would have to wait this one out.

Now, how to stop her boredom, she thought. Her phone rang and she received a call. It was her boyfriend, Max. They were in an open relationship. It was Max's idea. Cassy didn't like it but he insisted, saying that commitment makes people cheat, but having it open allowed people to not feel pressured.

Cassy thought about her relationship history. She dated four men in her life. One of them was a casual fling during her time of grief. She could not really say she dated him. That meant she actually dated three men.

Her first was from high school. His name was Romeo, well suited to his loving care. They were so young, teenagers but Romeo was mature in mind. He was so kind and nice and he was her first experience. He passed away in an accident. He was her first love. His death hurt her deeply. She tried to fill that void as fast as possible after the grief of losing him. This made her have the casual fling. Realizing it filled no void, she stopped. In University she met Steve but he was just a friend. She liked him but he didn't reciprocate, seeing her as just a good friend, so she kept her feelings to herself.

Later she met Max. He was smart and kind and adventurous. He showed care but said from the start he wanted an open relationship. He told her she was free to see any other person and he would not stop her. At this point she was afraid, still afraid of being alone. She was always thinking of her first love when she was alone. So, she agreed to be with Max.

She recalled seeing him with a girl once. They walked in to have dinner at a restaurant she was having a meal at. She was just seated across from their table. It hurt to see them together. She had to leave. Later, Max called her and asked her if she felt jealous. She said she did and he told her he wanted a break up. She pleaded that she would not be affected again, so he stayed. And then she tried to be strong, to detach herself from too much feelings.

That was when she met Michael. She had never met a guy like Michael. He was so hot and so intense. He made her forget Max. He wanted to marry her at once. She wanted to be perfect for him, so she lied that she was a virgin, hoping to deceive him into believing she was.

The day she was going to break up with Max, he asked for a last date and a goodbye kiss. She was obliging him when Zee ruined everything by taking pictures of them together which caused her wedding breakup saga. By now she would have been Michael's wife, not Zee.
