Dryness crept along the earth here, the tall grass swaying in what little wind the earth provided here. I'd been moving for days now, putting miles between the home and family I had once known. The stars kept me grounded, told me where to go, so I took to traveling at night.
It was daylight, in this open field, the nearest village almost a half day away, though this particular building was familiar in a way I wasn't prepared for. Baste Prison - Ban's home for ten years.
I missed him. Often my thoughts presumed of what would have happened if I had asked him to come with me. To venture into the unknown until one of us got bored with it. I missed Ban, his cooking and drunkenness. His ability to make me feel better. My only reason to marvel at the moon. Something inside told me he was watching it too.
Clanking footsteps sounded near, but I couldn't care less as they stopped feet away. "Leave. You are in clear violation-"
The guard's words stopped short, paused most likely by the oddly colored stone-like plant crushing him to death. It was a wonder how it had come in mere inches of my uncaring being, though maybe I should have been alerted at the amount of power shrouding me. I should have jolted to my feet, become prepared enough to at least defend myself.
But I just laid there, waiting for death to greet me, an idea coming to mind as power tickled my ankles. The tendrils of my own powers spread out hungrily, picked up on emotions that would normally carve their ways up my spine, but the almost visible tendrils lapped up the power greedily and without thought.
Within seconds I knew who they were, flashes of their own memories making themselves comfortable in the back of my mind. Daring at me to look deeper. When a face appears above me, eyebrows crooked in some abnormal fashion, a lazy grin takes up most of my face.
"We are going to have so much fun, Zeldris."

A darkness shook the girl awake, fear shaking her being, right down to her bones it gripped. Eleven years old, she silently whispered words that had her sin mark glowing, her tendrils grasping out blindly for something. She'd been alone for far too long, locked in her own solitude, trust broken from most of her family and old friends.
Since Rosie had shattered the windows with a single step.
Power itched to escape, to find that whom which it craved. To find Meliodas, for him to be there to protect her.
Her thoughts floated to when she realized her powers could reflect her own strong emotions, not just others. It was more than for finding a weakness to yield, it was meant to be yielded.
And in the dark of her room, Rosie believed the whispers that leaked from the shadows...
And cracks appeared upon her window with a smile.

The black haired man was a rival to Meliodas, so similar and yet so very different. I couldn't help but be thankful for the differences, not sure if I could control myself at the sight of his floppy gold hair and vibrant green eyes. My heart still ached with memories that disturbed the rhythmic beating it was used to.
"Who are you?" The dark haired one breathed, not bothering to get me to my feet as his companions gathered. None of them entered my peripheral vision, though I felt as they grew uneasy, their feet shuffling to a stop as they maybe looked around. Attempting to find a source of power. Though I couldn't be sure. I hadn't dared to look away from Zeldris - yet.
"Rosalinda, Fourth Princess of Liones, at your service." I couldn't help the grin that ate up my cheeks and caused a single muscle to twitch along my jaw line. "Ready to play?"
All of the demons stared at me with a mixture of emotions that the tendrils of my power ate viciously and unchecked, finding the confusion to be a rather delicious treat. As they watch me stand and walk to the strange plant they had deemed their base moments ago, I reveal little to them. Shoving a few of my memories down their throats to explain myself. Only reminding me of Ban, how as I was leaving, my magic went rampant. Attempting to take him down too.
"I take it they are why you've shown up after these... years." I remark, sitting closely down next to where Zeldris and whom I would assume to be Estarossa had been laying about, their eyeballs practically bulging. Peering through the bangs of my recent hair change, I grin lazily, practically seeing the smoke rise from Zeldris' anger. It was... enlightening. "I've known Meliodas was different for such a long time, it was easy to connect the dots that he originally belonged to you lot. And then poor Elizabeth, just too weak and compelled to be near him, something had to have happened there."
" You're here because you had a theory?" Estarossa spoke, cutting off the quiet mumbling of conversation between the others who looked at me like a meal. Estarossa was maybe the tallest of the lot, his black-red eyes resembling pools of blood that was only brought onto display due to his platinum hair.
Something flashed in my eyes at his words, suddenly the two of us - along with Zeldris - were blinked out of existence. Invisible to the others, though we remained in our regular spots, the world had changed. Darkened somehow.
"Im here, because I want to break the spell."
"There's no way to do that." Zeldris argues, of course hiding the fact that if Meliodas came back and pledged loyalty to his father, that would be a different story. Neither of them questioned how I knew of a three-thousand year old curse, one that I had found locked away in memories of too many minds. I couldn't deny such truth no matter how much my heart screamed.
A growl escaped my lips, surprising the dark haired demon. "We all know that isn't true. Saw all of your memories and feelings when I was shoving my own at you. We have no secrets, now, demons." They looked at me, horrified and impressed all in the same breath. It wasn't a secret than, that I had them within my grasp.
With a feline grin, crossing my legs and blinking us back into existence, enjoying my new power tenfold. "So boys, do we have a deal?"
