Rosie's P.O.V

Meli held my hand on the way to town, Hawk and Elizabeth listening closely as he spoke of the greatest ale he had ever tasted. I couldn't help but giggle at his excitement, earning a growing smile on his face. Yet I could remember times when he and Ban would take me out with them, mainly so I could watch the dancers, and so they could drink. Ban would always get lost on the way home, giving me and Meliodas a chance to talk.

~Flashback~

"Where did Ban go, Meli?" Her body help neatly in Meliodas's arms, staring behind them to where Ban had just been, but also to the tavern where music still played. Disrupting the moment and the answer, the sound of trash cans falling scared the young girl into hiding into the man's neck.

"It's okay, Rosie. Probably just a drunk Ban or a cat." He says, smiling at the way she clutches to him. Knowing that he was her biggest safe place, but his mood dampens when he realizes that he only has two days left.

"Why are you sad Meli?" She asks, not pulling her face out of his neck, fearful that the taller man would jump out and make a frightening appearance as he sometimes does. He smiles, recognizing the power the girl had without a doubt.

He sighs, wishing moments like these could last forever. "It's almost time for us to go again." She stiffens in response, small tears flowing from her eyes, knowing that for sometime, her dreams would be clouded by darkness. She hoped for ones filled with a future of dancing and adventures with him, as they neared the castle.

~Flashback Over~

The smile soon disappeared as worry replaced my facial features, due to the emotions flowing out from the center of the town. "Something's wrong."

"The water is all dried up somehow." Meli says, his eyebrows narrowing, concern lacing his features. I nod, wondering where it could have all disappeared to.

"And all the herbs around the water are dead." Elizabeth adds, and I could all but feel the pain flowing from the townspeople, the anger and sadness so strong that it stops me in my tracks. I sigh, closing my eyes, sending out a Shockwave of relief, hoping to ease their minds slightly.

I open them to find Meli watching me closely, Elizabeth glaring at me for stopping, and Hawk as confused as ever. I attempt to take a step, stumbling into waiting arms, as if he had already known what I was going to do.

Meliodas's P.O.V

"Stupid magic power." He mutters, catching me without effort, before lifting me bridal style and holding me close to his chest. 'I should have known she would do this. She hates when people are unhappy.' I pull her close to my chest, before turning towards the town with the other's following quickly.

"What was that, Sir Meliodas?" Elizabeth's eyes scan how I'm holding Rosie, and I sigh, knowing she'll find out eventually.

"We can talk about it later. Right now, I want to find out what made your sister do this." I walk normally, reaching the square of the town.

"It must be a festival!" Elizabeth cried, but I couldn't help but want to deny it. 'Rosie would never try to stop happy emotions.' I walk to the edge of the group, hearing mutterings of welcoming the barkeep to the group.

"What's with the crowd?" I ask, as Hawk also asks, "What's the festival about?" I just stare at the men in front of me, as anger curled their noses once again.

"This isn't a festival! Some Holy Knight shoved a sword in the ground, trapping all of our water underneath the village." His eyes practically protrude out of his head. Another voice masters up the courage to say something.
