Everything hurt. Superman, Wonder Woman, and everyone else was down and out. The battlefield was a scene of devastation, with debris scattered and buildings reduced to rubble. I stood to my feet, my body aching from the relentless fight. I knew I was the only one left standing.

I took a deep breath and focused, reaching out with my mind. My telekinesis was still new and raw, but I had no other choice. I held out my hands, and with every ounce of strength I had, I grabbed Amazo from behind. The android struggled against my invisible grip, but I held firm.

"You're not getting away that easily," I muttered under my breath.

With a powerful thrust, I launched myself into the sky, dragging Amazo with me. The wind roared past us as we ascended, the city growing smaller beneath us. I flew higher and higher, pushing past the atmosphere and into the vast expanse of space.

Amazo continued to resist, its power surging against my telekinetic hold. But I was determined. I couldn't let this monster continue to wreak havoc on Earth. I had to end this, no matter the cost.

As we broke through the outer layers of the atmosphere, I could feel the intense heat of the sun growing stronger. I knew I couldn't withstand its full force for long, but I had to get Amazo close enough.

The light of the sun was blinding, its heat searing. My skin felt like it was on fire, but I pushed through the pain. With a final burst of strength, I flew straight toward the sun, Amazo still struggling in my grasp.

The android's resistance began to falter as we drew closer to the sun's surface. The heat and radiation were too much even for its copied powers. I could feel my own strength waning, but I didn't let go. Not yet.

We were almost there. I could see the sun's corona, a blazing inferno of energy. With a desperate cry, I hurled Amazo into the sun, using every last bit of my telekinetic power. The android was engulfed in flames, its form disintegrating in the intense heat.

I watched as Amazo was consumed by the sun, a sense of relief washing over me. It was over. I had done it.

But the sun's heat was overwhelming. I could feel my body failing, my strength draining away. I turned away from the sun and flew back toward Earth, but my vision was fading, and my limbs felt heavy.

Just as I thought I couldn't go any further, a strong pair of arms caught me. I looked up to see Superman, his face etched with concern.

"You did it," he said, his voice filled with pride. "You saved us all."

I managed a weak smile before everything went black.

When I woke up, I was back at the Fortress of Solitude. My body ached, but I was alive. Kara, Volcana, and Wonder Woman stood around me, their faces filled with relief.

"Welcome back," Kara said, her voice soft.

"You were amazing," Volcana added. "I don't know how you did it, but you saved us."

I sat up slowly, feeling the weight of what had happened. "Is everyone okay?"

Superman nodded. "Thanks to you. Amazo is gone, and the League is recovering. You did something incredible out there."

I took a deep breath, still processing everything. "I just did what I had to do."

Wonder Woman placed a hand on my shoulder. "You showed true courage and strength. You're a hero like no other, Cornelius."

I felt a surge of pride and gratitude. I had faced one of the greatest challenges of my life and come out victorious. I wasn't just a sidekick anymore; I was a hero in my own right.
