It was nighttime in Megapolis. The moon was shining down it's light and the stars twinkled happily across the sky. all was peaceful no bull clones making a mess, no villains causing trouble. all was at peace.
*WHOOOOSH*
At least it was, until two figures dressed as ninjas dashed across the roof. they were swift, fast, sneaky and filled with determination as they arrived at their destination. . . . . . Pigsy's noodle shop. even though it was late at night the kitchen light was on and inside was the most dangerous person that they needed to watch out for. . . . . Maria.
The two ninjas faced each other, nodding to one another as they leaped from the roof and dashed into the shadows. Inside the Kitchen Maria was humming to herself as she baked away. the two ninjas snuck into the shop through the window signing and doing hand gestures as they rolled and flipped through the air pressing their backs to the bar. one of them peaking over to see Maria with her back to them. they clench their fist, signaling the other that the coast was clear. The other nods as they pull out a staff and slowly stretched it to reach the prize at the end of the kitchen. . . . . . Maria's special new year's strawberry mooncakes!

The staff moved toward the plate slowly and carefully, not wanting to alarm the woman. " Slowly. . . . Slowly" ninja 1 whispered as they watched the staff inch closer and closer "Shh. . . I know. . . " Ninja 2 whispered back, their arms starting to tremble with excitement. "Almost. . . . got it. . . they whispered with anticipation, just as the staff touched the plate a wooden spoon slapped the staff away "No touchy!" Maria said with a smile.
"AAAHH! ABORT! ABORT MISSION!" The two ninjas yelled as they tripped over themselves trying to run away.
"Hey! get back here!" Maria called out laughing as she grabbed the two by the back of their ninja Gi's. "Aw man we were so close" ninja 2 complained with a pout.
"Yea come on Mama Mari just one mooncake?" Ninja 1 begged. making Maria roll her eyes as he unmasked the ninjas to reveal her kids. Mei and Mk who were giving her the puppy dog eyes "Please~" they begged.
