"Thank you for coming in, see you next time Mr. Cheng" Maria said bidding one of old regular's goodbye as they left happily with a full stomach. happily humming to herself Maria cleaned up the table and pocketed the tips. Tang cane be seen whispering to Pigsy looking excited while his husband didn't look convinced by his words.
"Another satisfied customer Pigsy! Mr. Cheng looked happy as always and he finally got that hip replaced, he said his doing tai chi again with his wife and they can't wait to come by again." She informed him as she dropped all the tips she made into a jar, "we are definitely getting closer to our goal! I can't wait to get that new oven for the restaurant, I have so many desserts ideas!" Maria squealed excitedly while Tang was giving Pigsy the puppy dog stare, groaning softly Pigsy clears his throat.
"Hey kiddo... Have you ever thought about ... being in a relationship? Or at least date some one?" Maria was quiet for a moment, lost in thought before answering. "I um.... I don't know... I mean I would like to get to know someone but... I'm not exactly the type of woman that most men want." She frowns hard thinking about how a man once called her a freak when she beat up a robber who was trying to steal from that same man.
Pigsy glares at Tangs warning him to not go through with his plan but again he was ignored as Tang leans against Maria and waves away the thought bubble. "Ignore that memory baby girl... that guy was toxic and probably had his fragile ego hurt from being Saved by an amazing woman like you. he probably couldn't stand the fact that you were leaking pure dommy mommy energy"
"dommy who?" she asked confused staring at Tang.
"dommy you! HAHA" Tang laughed oblivious to the confused look she had as Pigsy face palmed himself. "Look baby girl you are a beautiful, young lady who is extremely strong, nurturing and smart but you spent 13 years raising Mk and working that you never gone out to meet someone... SOOO, I called in a favor and tonight you're going on a blind date!" Tang exclaimed excitedly.
Pigsy and Maria simply stared at him in silence. . . . . . . . . . . .
".... So, I have an order for two bowls of noodles with a lettuce wrap on the side to go." Maria said completely dismissing Tang as she continued to world causing Tang to fall over in disbelief.
"YOU CAN'T JUST IGNORE ME MARI! beside this'll be good for you... you'll meet that special guy have perfect date where you both will just click then you'll both date for a couple months before he ends up realizing he can't live without you then he will propose to you on a beach at sunset. then I'll help you plan the wedding and go wedding dress shopping then on the day of the wedding I'll walk you do the aisle on your beach wedding as my darling Pigsy cried with Sandy and Mk will be the ring bearer and be your future husband best man and Mei will be your maid of honor and as I give you away... I'll realize that you'll live happily ever after and that's when I'll burst into tears as you lovingly look at your partner with love in your eyes and said ... I do... doesn't that just sound like a dream come true" Tang said with a sigh as he loses himself in his fantasy.
