A week has passed since Mk has become the Monkey king's successor and truthfully not much has changed, beside the whole Monkey king staff almost killing Mk moments. but if you know anything about peaceful moments' . . . . they never truly last.

"ORDER UP!!" Pigsy yelled as he handed out another serving of noodles to Maria as she rushed by and picked it up. "Pigsy I need one Zha Jiang noodle and 2 servings of pork dumplings to go!" Maria yelled out as she walked through the crowded restaurant carefully handing each person and demon their food.
Pigsy nodded as he tipped the wok slightly, catching the ingredients on fire "COMING RIGHT UP!"
Maria smiled sweetly as she spoke to each customer asking for their orders and thanking them as they left.
While she was working hard a pair of golden eyes were watching her from the shadow of the windows, humming quietly as they do. 'she's working too hard again . . . She needs to take a break soon before she falls ills again.' they thought worryingly.
A few hours past when Pigsy and Maria were finally able to rest. Pigsy was red faced and sweaty from the heat of the kitchen while Maria was sitting at a booth massaging her tired legs.
"As tiring as that was . . . that was a pretty good lunch hour." Maria said with a chuckle, hissing as she felt her legs throbs.
Pigsy grunts as he chugged some water "pretty good lunch rush . . . . but where the hell is that Mk, he was supposed to be here to help out" he growled angrily.
Maria chuckles nervously for her son " I think he's out with Tang and Mei . . . I believe they said something about hanging out with Sandy to rest up after defeating DBK" Pigsy groans annoyed as he rubs his face "But, if you want, I can go and get them I don't mind really I'll go and--- ow ow ow" She cried because as soon as she stood up to leave she felt a sudden shock of pain go up her leg.
Pigsy frowns worryingly and kneels beside her " are you ok kiddo?"
She nods but with a look confusion " yeah . . . . that was weird it felt like something gripped my leg and shocked me . . . . usually, I'm fine after a lunch rush like this"
"How about I go and find those slackers and you take the rest of the day off. you deserve a break kiddo" Pigsy suggested as he pats her on the head.
"Are you sure papa Pigsy? I can always come with-"
" No and that's final Maria. take a break you deserve it after working that quadruple shift with me." he said as he gently pushed her out the restaurant " go and relax and I mean it Mari" Pigsy slams the door on her and flips the sign to close, leaving her standing outside.
