It has been a few days since the disaster that Spider Queen caused on new year's, the city has been repaired and all was going well at the moment. Mk and Mei have been fooling around and going around the city helping people in need. Pigsy and Tang have been busy at the noodle shop. Sandy and Mo have been living in the drone copter now since their ship was destroyed and was in the middle of being fixed.
Maria, Wukong and Macaque have been good as well. She still continues to receive gifts and sweet letters from them both and lately they have all been meeting up on the roof of the apartment to talk and enjoy each other's company, even though the boys sometime end up fighting each other for Maria's attention, they have learned to tolerate one another sometimes. True to her word Maria hasn't persuaded them or tried to force them to talk or get along, but she still enjoys having them nearby. Macaque still disguises himself as Shadow which she doesn't mind while Wukong has been visiting her when Mk isn't around. lately Mk has been noticing his mother being in a better mood lately and the collection of flowers in the house has been increasing, his been suspecting something has been going. But Luckily he is easily distractable.
Not only has Maria been happy because of her two new monkey men, but because she is a complete menace to her enemies, one of her new favorite hobbies has been dropping down insults and taunt letters into the sewer for a certain Spider. one of the reasons she knows it's working is because from a nearby sewer drain, she can hear said Spider screaming in anger which simply fills her with joy at her misery.
But lately Maria has noticed Wukong has been quiet, and looking seriously worried. She wants to ask him what's was wrong, but she had the feeling it might have something to do with that strange girl from the spider mech they saw.
At the moment she and Mk were at Flower Fruit Mountain staring in disbelief as Monkey King was going around the cave packing up a suitcase. "What do you mean 'vacation'?" the mother son duo asked confused. Maria feeling a little sad that he was leaving. Both of their phone's ringing as a new game was announced called Sleep Bug but it was promptly ignored.
"Aw come-on bud, Peaches" Wukong started as he shuffled through a pile of random stuff." I promised myself that when I found a successor, I'd go and see some friends take a tour of my old stomping grounds, just cut lose you know" he explained throwing more things behind him into the suitcase.
"Wukong, you have no friends!" Maria retorted with a glare "the hell you mean cut lose?"
"Hey! I have friends" Wukong whined with a pout.
"the kind that won't kill you on sight?" she asked with a raised eyebrow
". . . . . . . I have friends" he said looking away before pulling out a pair some sunglasses " Oh! gonna need these!" he said putting them on and giving Maria wink.
