The next day was double dutch.
The first two events were double dutch speed and pairs double dutch speed. I personally think that they're kind of boring. The heats went by pretty fast, and before we knew it, it was time for double dutch.
Luckily we weren't near the beginning, because we still had to make up our routine. We basically kept the same routine except added more power to Brandon's part.
It was really hard for me to turn for power. I had done it before, but not for turn tables and flips like Brandon was doing. Becky kept on giving me advice, and the triplets came over and helped me too. I finally thought that I got it right before we went on.
We only had two misses in our routine, which is pretty good for making it up 30 minutes before.
Next was pairs double dutch.
Pairs double dutch didn't go very well. We had 8 misses. We probably came in last place.
Everyone was getting ready to go on for group routine when Leia ran up crying.
"Coach Melissa! I hurt my back. I don't think that I can jump in group routine!"

Would I be able to sub for Leia? Would all of my yard work pay off? I was about to find out.
Coach Melissa had us all gather in a circle like we do at practice.
"Ok guys, so Leia is hurt and can't jump. We're on second, right after the Summerwind Skippers, and we need a substitute who can step in easily. Becky, I think that's you."
Hey guys!
Sorry I know this is super short but the next one' super long.
