Jungkook hurries through the airport, holding his satchel securely to his body, with his ticket and passport inside. The check-in had taken too long with all equipment being properly labeled, and now he had to run. He was sure they had already called him out to boarding.
Jungkook hated to be late, and it was absolutely not his MO to be late. It stressed him out, but somehow today, nothing worked out. The shuttle service was late, they had been stuck in traffic to the airport and the check-in had taken too long. His carefully planned timetable was completely wrecked.
Some sweat runs down his temple and he pushes his legs to run faster. Dodging several slowly walking people.
"Mr. Jeon Jungkook, please come to Gate 61 for boarding!" Sounds a friendly voice over the speakers, not butchering his name, and Jungkook registers that he is only two gates away. He slows down when he finally arrives, huffing out several deep breaths and puts his hands on his waist to catch his breath.
A stewardess smiles at him, while the second one checks tickets from two men that had apparently been late too.
"Mr. Jeon?" The one checking the tickets asks, and Jungkook digs in his satchel to get his ticket out.
"Here," he says and hands it over, for her to swipe it over a scanner.
"Please follow to the left for your seat in Business Class," she informs him and the transparent gate swings open.
"Thanks," Jungkook answers and walks through, following the two men that are several feet ahead of him.
Jungkook's stomach feels queasy the closer he walks to the plane and he takes a breath to calm his nerves this time. He hated flying! But it was necessary. Sadly there wasn't a train to Seoul from New York.
