Taehyung rolled over with a groan when he heard more noises from the kitchen. Was Jungkook singing along to the radio? It sounded like it.
He looked at his phone and groaned again. It was only past seven but he threw the cover aside and got up.
He combed his hands through his hair when he entered the kitchen and froze, because Jungkook was standing at the stove, rolling something artfully in the rectangular pan for Gyeran-mari.
Taehyung rubbed his eyes, checking if he was seeing things, but Jungkook was still there, bare chested and clad in only shorts. What the hell?! Was this a 'bro thing'? The tattoos on his arm were fully visible and intriguing. He had seen parts of it before, but now he could admire it up to his shoulder.
Jungkook turned and put a second eggroll onto a plate, realizing Taehyung was standing there. "Hey Tae, I made breakfast. You want tea or coffee."
Taehyung blinked. "Huh?"
Jungkook put the pan in the sink and leaned his hip against the counter. "I forgot you are not a morning person," he smiles.
"I will fix my tea," Taehyung answers and yawns, rubbing his belly. He feels Jungkook's eyes follow his hand, but he snaps out of it and turns.
"The fridge was stocked so I helped myself."
"Ah, Hyungshik is the best," he smiles and fixes his tea.
"That is you friend?""Yeah, we have known each other for a long time. He is cool, I'm sure you would like him."
Jungkook mumbles something he doesn't catch, while he cuts the two egg rolls into bite size pieces.
Taehyung grabs some chopsticks and places his tea on the dining table.
"Did you sleep well?" he asks and sits down.
Jungkook places his cup opposite Taehyung and gets the two plates, and they sit down to eat.
"I slept like a stone," Jungkook answers and gets busy devouring his breakfast.
"Thanks for cooking, by the way. This tastes really good."
"No problem," he replies. "So we will get ready and leave?"
"Woah, not so fast," Taehyung responds, looking at him with big eyes. "Let me wake up, please. I need to take it slow."
Jungkook leans back, his naked chest on full display, and Taehyung uses the chance to ogle him. It looked like he had several traditional Korean artwork tattoos and he wanted to trace them. It suited him in his opinion.
"You okay?" Jungkook inquiries, smiling. "You are staring."
Taehyung snaps out of it, feeling caught. "Still waking up," he mumbles.
"Maybe I should drive to the national park," Jungkook offers, "and you will have time to wake up properly."
"Fine by me."
An hour later, they are on the road after Taehyung cleaned up and got ready. A backpack sits in the backseat, packed with water bottles, food, and Jungkook's camera. Of course he took it along. Taehyung had his legs on the console, putting sunscreen on them while Jungkook drove. He had some sunscreen left and rubbed it on Jungkook's arm. Taehyung realized that Jungkook's hand was gripping the steering wheel hard.
"Are you okay? Should I drive? You seem tense."
"I'm good," Jungkook replied and loosened his grip a bit. "I haven't driven in South Korea until now."
