Jungkook looks to the drivers side, watching Hoseok navigate the car in the narrow street like a pro.
"Is this a one-way-street?" he asks, concerned, and Hoseok snickers.
"Of course it isn't," he answers and Jungkook has a sudden scenario in his head, how they pass another car and graze the mirrors. The thought lingers for a few seconds and he shakes his head. "Tell me, where are we going again?"
"We are scouting a location the client suggested. It's an art gallery. I already looked at two others, but they suddenly threw a third location in the mix and your name as well."
"My name?" Jungkook asks surprised.
He was in South Korea for a week now and he was feeling some culture shock. He was more occupied with adapting, than making himself known right now.
"Yes. They want you to take photos of their new brand ambassador."
"Who is it?"
"I don't know."
Jungkook looks at Hoseok skeptically. "Why wouldn't they tell you?"
"It's a secret, obviously."
"But I need to know, so we can speak about the concept. We need to attune to each other."
"Preach, Jungkookie. That's what I told them, but they are not budging."
"This is seriously fucked up and unprofessional," Jungkook mumbles. "That could turn into a disaster."
Hoseok laughs. "We will know soon enough. They want the reveal to be hyped and a big surprise. It is said, they fought really hard to get that person."
"Mmmh," Jungkook hums. "This better be good," he adds, when the street broadens again and they stop in a small parking space in front of a house with a blinding white front. There wasn't a name or sign that would indicate that there was a gallery here.
Jungkook looks around the street. "It will be a nightmare to get all the equipment here. We will block the street."
"We managed more difficult things," Hoseok assures him. "That will be only a small thing."
They get out of the car and walk to the entrance. The door is also white and Hoseok rings a bell.
"The gallery belongs to Kim Namjoon," he says, when he notices Jungkook looking for a name. "He is a well known gallerist and arts dealer."
"Never heard of him," he shakes his head.
"In South Korea."
It takes a few seconds and the door is opened. A tall man smiles at them, friendly, showing some prominent dimples.
"Kim Namjoon," he says and holds his hand out for them to shake, and they introduce each other. The man gazes at Jungkook thoroughly and he feels kind of x-rayed.
"Please come in," he invites and they follow him inside.
The gallery is wide and spacious, and Jungkook is pleasantly surprised. The roof is made of glass, which gives a lot of natural light and he can see a big inner courtyard filled with plants.
"I wouldn't have guessed that the gallery is this huge," Jungkook admits and wanders around. I guess it must be bad in the summer, with all this glass?" he asks.
"There are shades we can automatically roll out, and the air con is strong," Kim replies, looking proudly around.
Jungkook takes his camera out and shoots several pictures of the gallery. "I need them for the concept," he tells Kim, who still looks at him attentively.
