Lord Tybolt was also known as Ser, Lord of Casterly Rock, Shield of Lannisport, and Warden of the West, he is the son of Damon Lannister and Cerissa Brax, born in or before 194 AC.Lord Tybolt married Teora Kyndall; together they had one child, Cerelle Lannister.Lord Tybolt died under suspicious circumstances in 212 AC.Tourney at Ashford Meadow: Ser Tybolt participated in the tourney at Ashford Meadow in 209 AC, beginning the tourney as a challenger. In his first tilt, he chose to challenge Ser Androw Ashford and defeated him after six broken lances, taking his place as a champion. In one of his later tilts, Ser Tybolt was unhorsed by Ser Jon Penrose and broke his sword in his fall, but fought back with shield alone to win the bout and remain a champion.Ser Steffon Fossoway later thought to challenge Tybolt as champion, believing themselves to be equally matched.Lord of Casterly Rock: Tybolt becomes Lord of Casterly Rock upon the death of his father, Lord Damon Lannister, during the Great Spring Sickness in 210 AC. His brother Gerold served as his advisor.In 211 AC, Lord Dagon Greyjoy threatened the Westerlands, carrying off half the wealth of Fair Isle. In response, Tybalt began building a fleet to strike back at the Greyjoys at sea and by assaulting the Iron Islands. Tybolt later made common cause with Lord Beron Stark of Winterfell to wage war against Lord Dagon, for King Aerys I Targaryen was not lending the Iron Throne's aid. Despite being a young and healthy man, he died under suspicious circumstances in 212 AC. Tybolt was briefly succeeded by his three-year-old daughter, Cerelle Lannister, with Tybolt's younger brother Gerold as her regent. However, she passed away less than a year later, leading many to suspect Gerold of having a hand in their deaths, as he succeeded Cerelle as Lord of Casterly Rock.
