Lord Manfred was also known as Beacon of the South, Defender of Oldtown, Defender of the Citadel, Lord of Oldtown, Lord of the Hightower, Lord of the Port, and Voice of Oldtown. Lord Manfred had three children Martyn Hightower Ceryse Hightower, and Morgan Hightower.History: In 23 AC, when Queen Visenya Targaryen suggested a betrothal between her son Maegor and her newborn niece Rhaena, the High Septon objected to the match and suggested instead his niece, Manfred's daughter Ceryse. She and Maegor were wed in 25 AC. In 39 AC, when Maegor took a second bride by wedding Alys Harroway, Lord Manfred made a protest to King Aenys I Targaryen, demanding that Lady Alys be put aside. Manfred died in 41 AC and was succeeded by his son Martyn.
