"Well, I'm actually gonna do it." Matthew mumbled.
If you wanna know what Matthew is talking about, then it might surprise you. He's gonna jump off the school building.
If you wanna know why, then it's because he's suicidal and was told he should jump off a roof by Gilbert, a popular jock who was only joking that time.
-Flashback-
Matthew sat in the classroom acting normal like he would. Of course nobody talked to him because, he was what they say 'invisible' to them.
He was even neglected by his family, even his own brother who was actually close to him. But it all changed as he became popular also. He even pretended his brother wasn't even with him when he talked to the popular group.
Matthew blamed himself for letting it happen, but who he really blamed was Gilbert. He caused trouble for him ever since he started high school.
He would always tease and bully him. Getting him in trouble in class, making bruises on him. He even made Alfred call him a worthless brother.
Matthew never told his parents because he knew they would do nothing but scold both him and Alfred, who would probably hate him more.
It was that fateful day at school, Matthew wasn't acting himself like he would. He looked pale, he didn't eat, he even ignored the taunts Gilbert gave to him.
Matthew was depressed. He was tired. Tired of being ignored, tired of being neglected, tired of his life. He always thought everything would be better if he never existed or died.
"Hey, Canadian! I'm talking to you!" Gilbert taunted pushing Matthew's head.
"Matthew! Gilbert's talking to you. Why are you being deaf this day idiot?" Alfred said feeling annoyed.
"What's wrong? Feeling like you want to die? Well if that's your case then jump off a roof. " Gilbert mumbled with a smirk.
'Thanks Gilbert, that's what I'm gonna do today.' Matthew mumbled.
-Present-
"Oh my God look!" A girl yelled looking up the roof to see Matthew standing there.
"Matthew! Don't do it we were just joking!" Alfred yelled trying to convince his brother.
"Why shouldn't I?! All you gonna do is tease me and call me a worthless brother! You, papa and dad!" Matthew yelled with tears in his eyes.
"Everything was just the way it was until you had to be friends with Gilbert and became part of the popular group! You never loved me ever since! I even heard you and Gilbert wish I would die! If that's what you want then I'll do it!" He yelled standing on the edge of the roof.
"Matthew please! I'm sorry! I'll change I promise. Just please don't do it!" Alfred cried with regret. Having guilt in his heart.
The whole school crowded around the front, some students recording and trying to convince Matthew not to kill himself.
"Alfred, tell papa I love him." Matthew said before leaning forward, only to be pulled back by Gilbert.
"Don't. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that I did all those things to you. I'm sorry that I took everything away from you. I'm sorry that I never said I love you." Gilbert mumbled before he kissed Matthew.
"Gilbert, I forgive you and I love you too." Matthew said as they both fell off the roof, hearing screams below them.
'At least we'll be together. Forever.'
"Breaking News: Two teenagers committed suicide as they both fell off the roof at their High School, (random high school name). The victims being 17-year-old Matthew Williams and 18-year-old Gilbert Beilschmidt."
The news was everywhere. Newspapers, TVs, radios and rumors.
Alfred didn't even go to school the whole week as he blames himself for his brother's death. Even his parents blamed him after figuring out everything he did and said to him. He started having depression, night terrors, he even cutted himself.
"If only he was here, I would have said sorry." Alfred mumbled in his sleep having his puffy red face stain his brother's Canadian flag pillow with tears.
At least Matthew and Gilbert died, being together, forever.
