----------------
"(Y/N)! Come here this instant!" Your dad yelled.

You groaned as you took out your earbuds and put a bookmark on your favorite book, (F/N).

"(Y/N)!!" Your baba called again.

"I'm coming okay?!" You yelled coming in the living room to see your papa looking very nervous while your dad had an angry look on his face while holding a paper which looked like your report card.

'Oh crap.'

"What's the meaning of this?!" He yelled showing the paper in front of you.

You looked at the paper. "A, A, A, B- wait B?!" You yelled grabbing the paper from your dad, seeing a B on your history. (Sorry if you do great in history)

"What's going on in there?" Your dad said glaring at you.

"It's nothing! I'm doing fine in there I swear!" You said.

"If you're doing fine, then how come that subject was a B?" He said, annoyance in his voice.

"Baba it's not that bad, I'm trying real hard in there." You said looking up from the paper.

"Well, if you're gonna try harder, you're gonna have to study until bedtime." Your dad said in a serious tone.

You looked at both of your parents with shock. The paper slipping off your hands to the floor.

"You can't do that! I'll miss (F/TV), and I won't be able to read my (F/N) series for a long time!" You cried.

"I'm sorry, but that's how it's gonna be until your grade becomes higher." Your dad said with a shrug.

"But that's not fair! I'm doing all I can! I'm studying right!" You cried.

"Well, maybe the 'things' you're interested in got you a grade behind." He mumbled glaring at your style.

"What does that have to do with me? Just because I like or have an interest in a culture or something doesn't mean it's affecting my life a lot." You said pointing to yourself.

"I don't care, go to your room now and study until your grade pulls up!" Your dad yelled pointing to your hallway.

You looked at your dad and your papa, feeling tears in your eyes as you ran off to your room.

"Why can't I just have my own life and be happy?!" You cried before slamming your door.

"Don't you think you went too hard on (Y/N)?" Ivan said, speaking for the first time after the argument.

"She should be alright. I just hope her grades will become better." Yao mumbled.

"But you're pushing her!" Ivan yelled.

"Listen, I'm doing all I can to make sure she does good in school! I can't stand to see her probably feeling hurt because she could be picked on for the way she dresses and things. But of all colors she wears black?!" Yao yelled, rubbing his head.

"Yao, you're just overreacting, this is pressuring you down too." Ivan mumbled.

"Let's just see how well she goes." Yao mumbled, giving Ivan a soft kiss.

A few weeks later, your progress report came in. As soon as you got home you found your parents waiting for you.

"Here you go, you mumbled, slowly walking to your room and closing your door.

"What was that about?" Yao mumbled, feeling concerned.

Ivan shrugged and opened the paper, his eyes going wide.

"Yao? You might want to see this." Ivan said, his voice filled with worry.

Yao looked at the paper, his mouth dropped as his eyes widen.

'(Y/N) has been dosing off and sleeps in my class lately. That's a big problem that could affect her grades.' At the bottom was your history teacher's signature.

Yao's grip on the paper tightened, he instantly walked to your room, banging on your door.

"(Y/N)! Open this door right now!" He yelled, waiting for a response from you.

"(Y/N), sunflower? Open up for your Baba and Папа, please?" Ivan pleaded before Yao got more angry.

"That's it, I'm coming in! You better be ready young lady!" Yao said as he opened the door, but froze in mid step.

There they saw you, your head hanging low by your school works with a piece of string attached to the ceiling and your hair.

You were asleep with your ear buds in while listening to your favorite songs by (F/B). A (F/N) book by the side of your binder, a pencil laying close to your hand on a work of yours.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)!" Yao yelled shaking you awake.

You groaned as you woke up and rubbed your eyes. You slowly looked up, having bags around your eyes and the front of your hair a mess. You reblinked your eyes as you saw your dads and instantly stood up.

"Baba?! Папа?! What are you two doing here?!" You said, trying to pull the string out your head.

"Is this why you barely come out of your room?" Yao said concerned.

"I don't come out, but only when I take a bath. And when you're not around, papa would always sneak some food in for me. But that's all I swear!" You said, your eyes still very droopy.

"But, what's with the string?" Yao asked.

"Well, it supposed to help me when I'm doing work or studying. They say it prevents you from falling asleep when you do your work or study." You admitted.

Yao sighed as he placed his hand on your shoulder.

"(Y/N), I'm really sorry that I have been pushing you too far. I really mean it. I thought that ever since your siblings had studied more and got better at school the same thing could happen to you. But I was wrong, I'm going too far on you and you know it too." He said apologetically.

You softly smiled and gave your dad a hug.

"It's okay baba. I understand, you wanted me to be just like my siblings, Kiku the most, but I'm not like them. I know you felt upset when I was into different things that you and the others weren't and it really hurt you. I'm really sorry if I did that to you." You said softly.

"I guess that means you two made up?" Ivan said joining the hug.

You and Yao laughed, Ivan joining in as well.

"I love you guys." You said with a smile.

"We love you too." They both said, each giving a kiss on your cheeks.
---------------
I hope you liked this one! I think I remember that the string and hair thing was true. Students at home would tie their hair up to the ceiling, so it can prevent them from falling asleep while studying or doing their work. I think that's true.
