Chapter 14- Unfaithfully Yours

***1 WEEK LATER***

JACK G'S POV

I watch her small, structured frame, move up and down ever so softly and peacefully. With her hand placed openly above her head, resting on the pillow as if she's dreaming of it being held. Her eyes shut in a way she makes you relaxed just looking at her. Even her dirty blonde hair was the most perfect bed head hair I've ever seen. Shiny and smooth looking, laying on the opposite side of the way her head faces.

I could watch her sleep every second of the day. Or at least every second that she wasn't kissing me or latching her small, delicate fingers onto me.

I was falling in love with my best friend. I've been thinking about that possibility but I knew it for sure now that it was true. I still never want to admit it out loud. It would change so much in my life and I'm one of those people who hate change. Any small change in my life throws me completely off my life track in a way that makes it hard for me to gain control again. Emma's my friend. Friend with benefits. Nothing ever more because as I said, it would change too much.

And if it were to change even our friendship if it ever didn't work out, I wouldn't be able to live with the fact that I don't get to see her. Her adorable laugh, perfect smile, killer personality, and just the beauty that radiates from her. She was the most gorgeous girl I've ever laid eyes on and I can't believe I've never noticed that until now. But we need to stay right where we are.

Sex. Just sex. Meaningless and fun. That's how it will be until the day she's had enough. Besides she has Cameron now. Apparently I mean. I seen her talking to him at the party last week and I even watched her kiss him. That hit me a little hard that night but I never went to ask her about it. I don't intend to because that would show I care. And if she knows that I care in such a way, she'll bring up our kiss again from that night. If that conversation is ever brought up again, that'll be it for me. I won't be able to stay away from her romantically then.

I break out of my deep thoughts and slowly get up from the bed, putting a lot of effort into not waking her up. I make sure the blinds on the windows are fully shut as the sunlight is now trying to find any possible way to enter the dark room. Before leaving the room, I couldn't help but place a gentle kiss on her head and admiring her one last time before exiting.

It was now around noon and Johnson and I have a meeting scheduled with our manager and some owner of a tour called "Digifest" about some possible tour dates. Jack and I's career was finally taking off and it made me so happy to finally see how our kindergarten dreams of being performers were coming true. Jack and I have been through everything together and I'm glad to say our journey as best friends is not even near being over.

As I head to my closet, located in its own personal room in the hallway, I pick out a plain black t-shirt and light brown cargo shorts to wear. As I grab my car keys and phone so I can head out the door, I decide to also grab my red and black OBEY SnapBack on the kitchen counter.

Hopefully these meetings go by quickly. I want to get back home and get ready for tonight. All the guys are coming over to my house for some swimming and just casual hanging out, like we all do best.

EMMA'S POV

As I open my eyes and adjust my vision to the small amount of sun peeking through the curtains, I hear the front door shut. I slip out of the warm covers and search my over-night bag for some clean clothes but there was none left. I've been at Jack's for 2 days now. He's the type of person who never makes you want to leave.

Soon giving up on the search, I just head out of the room and across the hall to Jack's closet to find an outfit. I slip on one of his grey t-shirts. And since it's a decent length, I don't bother with pants since I'm...I guess you could say, short.
