Chapter 8 - Day 2

AUTUMN

I woke up this morning feeling better than ever. I think that last night was a good refresher and it really just brought me back. I had just spent all day getting way too worked up about something that shouldn't have affected me, I'm just glad that I have Winter to help me. I ended up waking up before the sun had risen this morning and Winter was still asleep, normally after a night like last night he tends to wake up quite a bit later. I was quite fidgety this morning and i felt bad incase I was going to make Winter wake up so i just climbed out of bed and got myself ready to go on a walk, by myself, alone with my thoughts. I was just going to wait to get in the shower until Winter woke up just so that I didn't wake him up too early. I ended up deciding to just put my pajamas on, I never slept in them because I was a bit preoccupied last night so I put them on not bothering about my hair and makeup because I thought I would be back before winter was awake so I would have time to get myself ready a bit later so then at least if I did wake Winter up it would have been at a better time. In the few months me and Winter had been dating he's never seen me without makeup or without my hair done. It was nice to not have to get up so early to get myself ready before Winter had woke up. It was a little bit cold outside but I didn't have a jumper with me so I just grabbed my glasses and left. I don't even know where I wanted to go I guess I just wanted to walk, watch the sunrise, take in the fresh air and nature. I just followed the path, there were trees on either side and a lake on the left as well. I sat down on a bench facing the lake, the slightly risen sun reflecting off of it. Two swans float along next to each other, one covered in dark feathers one with light. Reminded me a lot of me and Winter. The light one would be Winter, he's like the sun, he brings brightness into any situation. So obviously I would be the dark one I don't know why but probably because of my dark past. But I think the main reason the swans reminded me of us was because they mate for life, like they find their forever and stay with them, I think I've finally found my forever. It's Winter and I've only now realizes that it always will be. Winter is my swan, my soulmate, my new forever. All I could think is what the fuck is going on with me. If you would have asked me a few years ago I wouldn't have been imagining actually settling down with someone, or wanting to it's probably too early for that. The time was flying, the sun was now fully risen, I realized Winter probably would be waking up soon so I started heading back.

WINTER

The curtains were opened and I reached over to pull Autumn into my arms. The bed was empty, if anything could wake me up it would be that. I shot up straight away and ran around the house just looking for her . All of her clothes were still there and her phone was still here as well. Her glasses were gone though so she definitely left on her own accord, she wasn't taken or anything so the panic inside me settled little bit but I still needed to figure out where she was, I grabbed my own glasses and the keys to the house, left and locked the door and just ran to find her. After days like yesterday you always have to be careful with Autumn, no matter how okay she seems, sometimes she can just have outbursts where she can just explode and you can never know what she's going to do when that happens. I went round most of the area before I found her, she was just walking on her way back to the house. She caught sight of me and just stopped, i think she could tell that i was out looking for her and she could tell that i had been running, i was out of breath and my face was all blushed and red. She was completely still and looking a bit shocked and confused, Autumn just turned around and started walking the other way. I ran after her to catch up. 

"Autumn wait" I caught up with her just as I finished speaking.

"Winter go away I don't want you to see me like this" that confused me, she didn't want me to see her like what.

"What are you going on about?" I thought I'd ask just incase she wanted to tell me. She kept on walking though so I gently grabbed her arm to stop her and turn her around.
