1 week later
Aya's POVI boarded the plane to the place where I grew up, it was only a few minutes before I landed so I immediately took my backpack from the overhead bin and put on the sunglasses that were placed inside my bag. Today is the day I came home to the Philippines because even though my life was good in Paris, I was forced to go back to the Philippines because of my father's orders and I could do nothing but follow. Dad wanted me to just take our private jet back to the Philippines but I didn't agree, so I was in the premium economy of the public plane because I'm not artistic when it comes to that sort of thing.
It's already 11 AM in the morning and I got off the plane. I went to the baggage claim area to get my two suitcases. When I finally got it, I waited in the arrival area because dad said he will pick me up with my mom. I was waiting when my phone rang. Dad's calling, I answered it.
"Ayara, I'm sorry anak but me and your mom couldn't make it, may importante kaming lakad" I already knew this would happen.
"But don't worry anak, our private chauffeur will arrive any minute. I sent him there, take care sa byahe" Dad added.
"It's fine dad, I understand naman po" I said and I asked Dad the plate license of the car and he tells me right away.
Dad hung up on me minutes later and sakto, the car arrived. Our private chauffeur assist me to place my suitcases in the trunk because it was kinda heavy. He opened the door and I immediately went inside.
While in the middle of traffic, I thought of texting my friends that I'm back na here sa Philippines and so, I did.
Ayara
Girls, guess who's back?Sophia
Omg? Ayara??! Here ka na sa Philippines? Is this real ba?Ayara
Yes, I just landed minutes ago, now I'm in the middle of traffic
Shana
Omg we're happy that you're back na Aya, we missed you!I can feel her excitement, I can't help but to smile.
Malaria
Meet up sa Starbucks, Aya?Ayara
I want to but I'm tired girls e, I want to rest muna, maybe next time?I felt bad because I know they badly wanna see me right now. The last time I saw them was 10 years ago when we were high school, but we remain in touch.
Malaria
It's okay Aya, we understand you, we're happy that you're back na, pahinga ka maigi pagkauwi mo ha, okay??I smiled while reading her message.
Ayara
Okay noted, RiaI placed my phone next to me.
"Kuya, can you play music? I want to take a rest while listening to some music, thank you" I said looking at him while smiling, I know it'll take 4 hours before arriving at our house.
"Okay po miss. Ayara" he replied and smiling as well. I was looking outside the window for a few minutes and then, I dozed off.
Hours later, I woke up because I heard that the music stopped already. My ears love music that's why I immediately wake up.
"The music stopped" I said to myself while my eyes are close.
"Nandito na po tayo miss. Ayara" our private chauffeur said to me while looking at me in the front mirror.
It's already 3 in the afternoon when we arrived here at our mansion in Batangas, I love this place so much, I grew up here. He went out the car and opened the door for me. While he was taking my suitcases in the trunk, a car stop by next to our car, it was dad and mom.
"Ayara anak ko, nandito ka na pala, sakto ang uwi namin ni papa mo" mom said and hugged me immediately.
I looked at dad and I walked towards him and hugged him.
"How's my princess? I haven't seen you in a while anak ko, ang laki mo na"
"Dad, I miss you and mama so much, it's been 8 years since the last time I saw the both of you" I said while hugging dad.
Yes, 8 years because mom and dad visited me 8 years ago while I was at our mansion in Paris with my maid, assistant and my personal bodyguard. I was just 18 years old back then when the last time I saw them. I understand why Dad chose to let me continue my studies in Paris, to make things easier. I also liked papa's decision because before that, I was avoiding someone and dad's decision put me in better situation.
I was eating dinner with my parents. I miss this, I miss this moment, so much. While we were eating, I couldn't help but to notice that dad and mom keep whispering in front of me so I decided to ask them.
"What's with the whispering, papa, mama?" I asked with a confused face.
"Ah Ayara anak, tsaka na namin sasabihin sa iyo kapag handa na kami" dad said while smiling, instead of raising my eyebrow because of confusion, I smiled instead.
We remain silent and finished eating, so I told them that I have to sleep, my body hurts because of the vey long trip. But before I took a rest, I decided to take a quick bath so I can feel fresh and smell good. Not so long when I finished taking a bath so I decided to sleep immediately.
Morning
It's already 8 am in the morning when I woke up, I sat down and stretched out my arms before standing up. I went towards the balcony to admire the very mesmerizing view. Minutes later when someone knocked on my door.
"Ayara anak ko, gising ka na
ba?" Mom said while knocking.I smiled hearing mom's voice and walks towards the door. I opened it and mom smiled at me widely.
"Good morning sa nag-iisa naming prinsesa" mom said while holding my face, I couldn't help but to laugh.
"Ma, malaki na ako, hindi na ang bungisngis na Ayara noon" I said while smiling at her.
"I know anak pero kahit na malaki ka na, prinsesa ka pa rin namin ni papa mo" mom said while holding the both of my hands.
"Oh anak maligo ka na at may bisita tayo sa baba, kanina ka pa namin iniintay kaya ako na ang umakyat dito" mom said while pushing me inside the bathroom.
"Yes Ma, maliligo na po" she left, I close the door and took a bath immediately.
"Bisita? In the morning?" I asked my self.
