Chapter 57

Mikhael's POV

I'm on the sofa right now, sitting while watching television. Kian and Avy woke up earlier kaya nakakain kami nang sama-sama. Nag h-half bath si Kian at Avy ngayon, with the help of their mama.

While watching television, dumaan si Ayara sa hallway kaya tinawag ko siya.

"What?" She asked.

She's wearing pang tulog na with a messy bun.

"Can I get a spare blanket? I'll be sleeping here nalang sa couch" I responded. She stared at me for a few minutes before nodding.

Minutes later when she came back, she was holding a blanket and a cup of tea.

When did I ask for a hot tea?

"Sure ka ayos lang sa'yo na dito ka matulog? You're too tall para sa sofa, sasakit katawan mo" Ayara said while handling me the blanket and the hot tea.

"Why? Where do you want me to sleep? Beside you?" I responded. Napataas siya ng kilay sa sinabi ko kaya natawa ako nang palihim.

"Just kidding but yeah, I'll be fine, thank you for the blanket as well as the hot tea" I added and took a sip.

"Dito ka na ba titira?" She suddenly asked.

"Yeah, it'll be much safer if I stick beside them and you" I responded.

"Kian and Avy will be very happy din kapag dito ka na tumira so...welcome home?" Patanong niyang tugon sa akin, hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako o kung ano.

"How about you? Hindi ka ba natutuwa na nandito ako?" Tugon ko at inilapag ang hot tea sa coffee table.

"Are you trying to flirt with me?" Ayara asked arrogantly while raising her eyebrow.

"Hahaha no, I'm just playing with you" I responded, I saw how she rolled her eyes at me.

Attitude.

Ayara walked towards the window and closed the curtains.

"Goodnight" I responded at itinuon ang mata ko sa tv.

"Goodnight too" Ayara responded and walked away.

Someone's POV

"Buhay ka pa palang hayop ka.." bulong ko sa sarili ko habang nakaupo sa loob ng sasakyan at nagmamanman sa dalawa.

Nag-uusap silang dalawa habang nakatayo sa harap ni Mikhael si Ayara.

Nakita ko na papalapit ng bintana si Ayara kaya lumingon ako sa kabilang direksyon, hindi tinted ang salamin ko kaya baka makita niya ako.

Paglingon ko pabalik ay nakasara na ang kurtina.

Paano siya nakaligtas sa malakas na pag bunggo sa kaniya?

"Who saved you that day Mikhael..." bulong ko.

"I'll find that person."

Mikhael's POV

I woke up when I felt a heavy weight in my chest. I opened my eyes and saw Avy, sleeping in my chest peacefully. I caressed her back carefully and fixed her hair.

You really did resemble Ayara, magkamukhang-magkamukha kayo.

"Dada.." Avy called me in a husky voice.
