**At the Studio Meeting...**
The conference room buzzed with the low hum of voices and the occasional shuffle of papers. Arjun sat at the head of the table, his mind barely registering the details of the meeting. His thoughts were consumed by Ishika, the hours and minutes ticking away until he could see her again. The manager Ankit's voice cut through his reverie.Ankit: "The concert has been postponed. We need to extend our stay in the city for another week."
My heart sank. A whole week? The thought of being away from Ishika for that long was unbearable.
Desperation clawed at me as I tried to interject.
Arjun: "I... I can't stay away for that long. Is there no way we can shorten the trip?"
The Ankit's eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of suspicion creeping into his gaze. He shook his head firmly, dismissing my plea without a second thought.
Ankit: "This is non-negotiable. The concert schedule is final. We need to stay and finalize the arrangements."
I opened my mouth to argue further, but a quick glance from Rohan, silenced me. His subtle shake of the head was a clear warning: not now.
Reluctantly, I fell silent, the weight of the decision pressing heavily on me.
Ankit: "Arjun, is everything alright? You seem unusually anxious about this."
Before I could respond, Rohan stepped in, his voice calm and reassuring.
Rohan: "He's just been stressed lately, with all the traveling and performances. You know how it is."
Kabir: "Yeah, it's been non-stop for weeks. We're all feeling the pressure."
Aaryan: "Plus, we had some personal plans that are getting disrupted. It's nothing to worry about."
The manager Ankit seemed to accept their explanations, albeit reluctantly. He gave me one last scrutinizing look before turning away.
As the meeting adjourned, Rohan and our other friends pulled me aside, their expressions a mix of concern and frustration.
Rohan: "Arjun, you need to get a grip. We all understand that you miss Ishika, but you need to control yourself."
I nodded, but my agreement was half-hearted. My mind was still fixated on Ishika, the thought of being apart from her driving me to the brink of madness. As my friends continued to talk, their words became a distant echo. All I could think about was seeing her, holding her, ensuring she knew I was always there for her.
Arjun: "You're right. I need to focus."
Kabir: "We know, Arjun. Just try to keep it together for this week. It'll pass quicker than you think."
