In the past week, Arjun has taken time out every day to call me, no matter what. His voice is like a soothing balm to my soul, especially when the days feel long and empty without him. He always makes me feel special, even from a distance.

He's coming back tomorrow, and this week has felt like a year without him. Arjun has become the center of my world. I can't imagine my life without him.Every day, he calls and I share every detail about my day with him. He listens with such patience and attention, even if he's exhausted.

His dedication makes me worry about him so much. When I urge him to rest, he just laughs and says that being with me is the only rest he needs.. idiot.. He's such a Idiot, but he's my Idiot, and I love him more than words can express. His love and devotion have become my strength, my joy, and my solace.

One evening, after another round of persistent questions from Priti and Neha, I sit alone in my room, reflecting on my secretive life.

The conversation inevitably drifts towards my mysterious boyfriend.

"So, Ishika, when do we get to meet this elusive boyfriend of yours?" Priti asks, a teasing glint in her eye.

"Yeah, you've been seeing him for a while now, and we still haven't met him.

What's the deal?" Neha chimes in, leaning forward eagerly.

I smile nervously, trying to come up with a plausible excuse.

"He's just really busy with work, guys. His schedule is insane.

"Priti raises an eyebrow, clearly skeptical.

"Busy or not, he has to have some free time. You can't keep him hidden forever, you know."

"Exactly! We want to make sure he's good enough for our Ishika.

It's our duty as your best friends," Neha adds with a grin.

I laugh, feeling the warmth of their concern. "I appreciate it, really. But trust me, he's amazing. He just... can't afford any distractions right now.

His work is very demanding."Priti leans back, her arms crossed.

"That sounds suspiciously like an excuse.""Come on, Ishika. We know you. You're not the type to date someone who's too busy for you. There must be something more," Neha presses, her eyes narrowing in curiosity.

I sigh, deciding to give them a bit more information without revealing too much.

"Okay, fine. Remember that guy I dated five years ago? The one I told you about?"Priti and Neha exchange glances, then nod.

"The one you said was 'the one' but things didn't work out?" Priti asks, her voice softening with empathy.

"Yes, him. We've reconnected, and we're giving it another try. But this time, things are different. He's really focused on his career, and we need to keep our relationship low-key for now," I explain, hoping they understand.
