2 Weeks Later
Kendall's POV
Y/n surprised me last night by flying in from North Dakota, where she had an event that I, unfortunately, couldn't attend because I had another commitment with my 818 Tequila. Waking up this morning, I was so sore from last night with Y/n, and of course, the morning sickness hit me again. It's been on and off, but it's getting better.
We're finding out the baby's gender soon, but we want to keep it a surprise until our baby shower. Speaking of which, I need to ask Khloe if she'll host the party for us. She loves throwing parties, and we trust her to keep the baby's gender a secret.
I walked toward our home gym and saw Y/n working out. She was at the squat rack, wearing her black shorts and a black Nike sports bra, looking so damn good. I leaned against the door and watched her for a moment; she clearly didn't know I was there. I snapped a picture of her and then decided to head back to the living room to call Khloe and ask if she wants to plan and host the baby shower.
As I dialed Khloe's number, I couldn't help but smile, thinking about how perfect everything is falling into place. This baby is already so loved, and I know Khloe will throw the most amazing shower. It's going to be such a special day, and I can't wait to see everyone's reactions when we finally reveal the gender. Y/n and I are both so excited to share this moment with our family and friends.
While waiting for Khloe to pick up, I started jotting down some ideas for the shower. Maybe we could have a garden theme with beautiful flowers and fairy lights, or perhaps something chic and modern with sleek decorations and a fun photo booth. I know whatever Khloe plans will be spectacular.
Khloe answered the phone with her usual enthusiasm, and when I asked if she'd host the baby shower, she immediately agreed. She was so excited and started throwing out ideas right away. I told her about wanting to keep the gender reveal a surprise and she promised to make it unforgettable. After hanging up with Khloe, I felt a wave of relief and happiness. It's all coming together, and I feel so supported by my family.
I walked back into my room and saw that Y/n was already in the shower. I smiled and headed back to bed where Pyro was already laying, wagging his tail when he saw me climbing back in. "Hey baby boy, want to cuddle with momma?" I asked him as he laid his long body by my side and rested his snout closer to my stomach. I smiled, watching him sniff my stomach and make little sounds as he laid close by. I rubbed his head and ears, "That's your baby sister or brother in there," I said to him with a smile.
Pyro seemed to understand, his big eyes looking up at me with such love and curiosity. It's moments like these that make me so grateful for everything in my life. As I continued to rub his head, I could hear Y/n humming softly in the shower, and it brought a sense of peace and contentment to the room.
