Lima pov
I drive to Gios place and knock on her door.
"I told I ain't kiss yo dog you nasty motha fucka- Lima?" Giovanna immediately dropped whatever she was doing and wrapped her arms around me, concern etched on her face as she saw the state I was in. She ushered me into her apartment, shutting the door behind us and locking it.
"Babe, what's wrong? What happened?" Giovanna asked urgently, guiding me towards the couch.
I couldn't respond through the sobs that racked my body. I collapsed onto the couch, burying my face in my hands. Giovanna sat down next to me, gently rubbing my back in a soothing gesture
Giovanna quickly whipped out her phone and dialed King's number, keeping one hand placed reassuringly on my back.
"King," Giovanna said urgently into the phone, "I need you to come over right now. Lima is here and she's a mess."
There was a pause as King spoke on the other end of the line, her voice too muffled for me to catch her words. Giovanna nodded, even though she couldn't see her.
"Yeah, thanks. See you soon." She hung up the phone and turned her attention back to me, continuing to rub my back. "King is on her way," she said softly.
"But why is my bad bitch crying?" She cups my face. I hiccup and sniffle "I- I'm taking a break.." she looks at me and knows exactly what im talking about.
I nodded, the sobs lessening as I tried to catch my breath. Giovanna reached over and handed me a tissue, which I gratefully accepted.
A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door and Giovanna got up to open it. King stood there, his expression worried as he took in the sight of me sitting there, looking tear-stained and miserable.
King arrived soon after, carrying a bag of snacks and drinks. Even from across the room, he could immediately tell that something was seriously wrong.
King sat down next to me, her usually playful demeanor replaced with concern. "Come on, babe, spill," she urged gently, putting a hand on my knee.
I took a shuddering breath, trying to compose myself enough to speak. "I left Billie," I managed to say through the tears, my voice cracking. "I don't know if I made the right decision."
King and Giovanna exchanged a worried glance, then turned their attention back to me. King gave my knee a reassuring pat. "Slow down and start from the beginning, babe."
I took another deep breath, trying to steady my voice. "Billie and I have been together for a few months now," I began, still sniffling. "And things have been going really well. But lately, I've been feeling like things are moving too fast. Like we're rushing into things without really knowing each other."
King and Giovanna nodded sympathetically, listening intently. I continued, voice shaky. "I don't know if it's just me being paranoid, or if there's something more. But I can't shake this feeling that we're not as in sync as we thought we were."
Giovanna spoke up then, her voice gentle. "Did you talk to Billie about this? Tell her how you were feeling?"
I shook my head, fresh tears welling up in my eyes. "No, not really. I didn't know how to bring it up without sounding like I was accusing her of something. And I didn't want to hurt her feelings."
Giovanna and King listened patiently, occasionally offering words of encouragement or support. As the conversation continued, the tears slowly dried up, leaving me feeling emotionally drained.
The room fell silent for a few moments as we all processed the situation. Giovanna then spoke up, her voice soft. "You need to rest, babe. We can talk more later. Just...try and get some sleep, okay?"
I nodded, exhaustion settling over me like a heavy blanket. Giovanna and King helped me stand up and guided me to the guest bedroom. I collapsed onto the bed, barely aware of them tucking me in and pulling the blankets over me.
