I glanced over at Lima, who was sulking in the passenger seat. She had spent the entire morning trying to coax me into giving her a head pat, but I had been too busy to notice. Now, she was pouting, arms crossed, and looking out the window with a grumpy expression on her face.
As I watched her sulk, I couldn't help but find her reaction endearing. I reached over and patted the top of her head, finally giving her the attention she had been wanting. "Happy now?" I asked, trying to suppress a smile as she visibly perked up.
She looked at me, a satisfied smirk on her face. "About damn time," she muttered playfully. "I was starting to feel neglected, you know."
I chuckled, shaking my head at her dramatics. "Neglected, really? You're so needy, it's hard to keep up with you sometimes."
We pulled into the parking lot of the bustling mall, the large sign overhead announcing a variety of stores and retailers. I parked the van and turned off the engine, and we all piled out, ready to explore the endless possibilities of shopping.
I chuckled as Maya practically dragged Lima out of the van, her excitement palpable in the air. "Looks like someone can't wait to go shopping," I commented, amused by Maya's eagerness.
As they practically ran into the mall, I could see the excitement mirrored in Lima's actions, her steps quick and bouncy, her eyes wide with anticipation. It was funny to see them both so enthusiastic about shopping, their energy infectious.
I followed behind them, shaking my head at their gleeful antics. "Slow down, you two," I called after them, laughter in my voice. "We have all day to shop. No need to sprint through the mall like it's a race."
The poor bodyguards were struggling to catch up with Lima and Maya's energetic pace, their steps quick and determined. I couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for them, imagining how exhausting it must be to keep up with our hyperactive duo.
Time skip
We took a break from shopping and got some food. Lima took a photo of Maya and posts it on her page.
