After taking a moment to rest and freshen up, we all got ready for dinner. Lima, always fashionably late, rushed to shower and change, while Maya helped Finneas pick out an outfit for the evening. As for me, I finished getting ready in no time at all, my outfit neatly pressed and my hair styled.
I couldn't help but feel my heart race every time I saw Lima. Everything about her drew me in, from the way she moved to the way she spoke. I found myself making excuses to be near her, to see her smile, to hear her laugh. I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't shake the possessive feeling that overcame me whenever I saw her with someone else. She was mine, and I would do anything to keep her in my sight, even if it meant resorting to stalkerish behavior
It started with small acts. I would "accidentally" bump into her, or conveniently show up at the same place she was at, even if I had no real reason to be there. I watched her every move, trying to learn everything I could about her. I stalked her social media accounts, taking in every photo and status update she shared.
My heart skipped a beat as I saw Lima walk out of her room. She was wearing an outfit that made her look absolutely tantalizing. My eyes drank her in, taking in every detail, from the way the fabric clung to her curves to the subtle hint of makeup that accentuated her features. In that moment, my obsession with her grew stronger, and I felt a possessive streak rise within me.
