"Good job, Harry Potter." It was an unfamiliar deep voice.

The room had suddenly dropped by fifty degrees. The air around them felt no longer like oxygen, but one that suffocated them. "You've led her straight to me. You've led them straight to me."

"W-what are you talking about–?" Harry spluttered out.

"The girl, and the two champions. Where are they?"

"What?" Hermione whispered, "Who are you?!"

"Never mind who I am. You seem to not know where they are. Very well. I'll leave you to rot. Thank you, Harry Potter. For you have led their deaths to me."

Suddenly, dark spots started to appear in his vision— but no. They were shadows. The darkness enveloped the room, no light remaining, and at the far side of the room, he saw it. The figure was at least twenty feet tall— he wore robes, Harry could tell this was a giant.

He couldn't see anything else but his figure and his bright eyes.

But he could see it— he was emitting shadows out of him. As the shadows got closer and closer to them, Harry could feel himself suffocating more and more— and he dropped down to his knees. As did those around him.

The prophecy on his hand dropped and rolled onto the floor, disappearing in the shadows. Harry didn't care— he couldn't think of anything else but his shaking body. The shadow drew closer and closer to him, forming a tendrils and wrapped itself around his neck.

His hand flew to his throat, trying to rip off the thing strangling him, but he couldn't. Hermione— still weakened and shaking, reached over with her wand and pointed it towards Harry. "Protego. . ."

But nothing happened.

"You petty mortals are irrelevant." The voice said, "I have no use for you." The tendrils dropped Harry down, and he coughed— struggling to breathe.

"W-what's happening?" Neville asked, voice trembling.

But Harry couldn't say anything— it was like he was drained of his magic and his life force. "Harry. . ." Hermione croaked out, but then they heard it— the sound of stomping that was growing closer and closer to them

They all turned around— and what they saw horrified them. The figure of the creature drew nearer, and they saw it. It had the head of a lion and the body of a goat— a blood-caked mane and a ten-foot-long diamondback snake-headed tail.

"Reducto!" Hermione shouted, pointing her wand to the creature, but nothing happened. "What? No!" She stared at her wand in horror.

"Run!" Neville screamed, helping Harry up and running as fast as they could.

"Here!" Hermione screamed, turning left and running through the path. But then the sight of three Death Eaters startled them. Lucius Malfoy pointed his wand towards them, "AVADA KEDAVRA!"

Again, nothing happened, and the group of students immediately made another turn, trying to get away from the monster chasing them. They heard screams of terrors behind them— most likely the Death Eaters.
