Before the Rush

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. Just as I was about to hit snooze, I realized it was my first day of highschool. I was new to town, had no friends and I had no idea what to expect. Deep down I was scared but I couldn't show it. My parents often worried about me because I usually tended to myself.
I looked at the clock and realized that I was going to be late if I didn't hurry up. So I began to rummage through my closet until I found my favorite pair of black skinny jeans, and my white button up. I than ran down into to the kitchen to get my breakfast. My parents had already left and my mom didn't buy the right waffles, so I just decided to just stop on the way to school.
As I got into my car, I was thinking of where I wanted to stop for breakfast. As I turned into the busy road some idiot cut me off so I got stuck at the red light. The light seemed to last forever as I was stuck in the silence of my car with my thoughts. I feared that I wouldn't fit in. I wondered if anyone would notice me. I thought about turning around and going home. All of a sudden I heard a honk. Oh hey the light is green.
Eventually I made my way to my second home, Taco Bell. This place always made me happy. Luckily for the first time since summer began, I was up early enough for the breakfast menu. Ten minutes had passed and I was already late for my first day of school. I slowly pulled into the parking lot of my run down school and parked next to an old blue truck. With my burrito in my hand I began to drag my body into the attendance office.
"Being late doesn't make you cool, you know that right? What's your name?" Said the lady with the bitch face.
"Tyler, Tyler Joseph" completely ignoring her rude statement. Once I received my slip I entered the hallways. I didn't which way to go. I began to worry like usual when I am not on top of things. All that mattered at the moment was for me to find my classroom.
I wandered the halls but had no luck. I than decided to go ask a boy who also appeared to be late to class. He was tall with blue hair. I also noticed that he had on skinny jeans as well. I assumed he was nice because of that. I quietly walked up to him and tapped on his shoulder. He turned around and gave me the biggest smile I've ever seen. His eyes also met mine and I thought this guy is actually kinda cute.
