i move my phone to sit across from me so that im now in the facetime camera. "yes bitch you look hot as fuck" Amy yells into the phone mic.

"thank you" i say while trying to hide my blush knowing that she will tease me. "are you almost ready?" i ask while applying a bit of lip gloss.

"yes im actully leaving the house now i will text you when im 5 minutes away k?" i put the lipgloss back in my desk drawer as i respond

"okay sounds good!' i hang up the facetime call and lean back stretching out my limbs

making my way to the living room i grab some water and sit on the couch.

I watch tiktok on my phone to pass some time while i wait for Amy to show up.

I giggle while watching a video of a Parrot talking.

It's been about 15 minutes when i finally get a text from Amy saying she's 5 minutes away.

I grab my white sneakers from my closet. After putting them on I run down to the parking garage.

I walk towards Amys car and knock on the passenger side window to get her attention.

she unlocks the car

She whistled jokingly when I buckle my seatbelt

"the tattoo healed amazing Mel"

i nodded my head at her while smiling.

I connected my phone to the car radio and played "Maneater by Nelly Furtado" Amy turns the radio to max volume as we scream the lyrics "YOU EITHER WANNA BE WITH ME OR BE ME"

we laugh at eachother. She turns her body towards me and continued to sing the song "THE ROAD!" i yelled while she just laughed and focused her eyes back on the road.

I roll my eyes playfully at her while letting out a laugh of my own.

It took about 45 minutes to arrive at the "track". I look towards all of the cars seeing one in particular catching my eye, i bite my lip to hide my smile.

Cars begin to rev their engines.

Amy yells into my ear"let's go find Troy" I nod towards her.

She links our arm together as we make our way to a group of guys.

As we get closer i see that some girls are basically shoving their tits into the guys faces.

I scan their faces to see if I recognize anyone. But I soon realize that they are all strangers to me which makes me a bit nervous. But i ignore my nerves and continue walking towards them.

When we finally reach them i watch as all of their eyes glaze over with lust when they spot Amy and I.

"hey baby" Amys says as Troy wraps his arms around her waist.

I stand their awkwardly waiting for somone to say something.

"do you want something to drink sweetheart?" i turn my head to see a man with the height of atleast 6"1 looking down to me. Even though he towers over me Kane is much taller with his 6'6 height.

I immediately push that thought aside. "im okay thanks though" he grabs a drink of his own. cracking it open to take a sip.

"whats your name?" he asks as he takes a seat on the hood of the car were crowded around. I don't want to be rude so i respond "im Melody whats your name?"

"Dom" he responds while taking another sip of his beer.

"who are you rooting for to win?" i click my tongue against the roof of my mouth before responding "im not sure"

i raise a questioning brow as i ask "who are you rooting for?"

he gives me a grin as he says "one of my best friends Kane,hes the best of the best he never loses"

i let out a grin of my own as i say "if you say so".

"would you want to meet him?" Dom asks assuming i don't already know him

"i would love to" i let out a little smile when he starts to walk towards a recognizable parked car in the back of the "track".

I see another group of people huddled around it.

But i see a tall figure towering over the group so can clearly see its my Kane.

"yo Kane!" Dom yells while pushing through the group of people.

"sorry" i mumble when i bump into a girl dressed in a super tight dress with her tits spillng out of the neck line.

I cant stop the ounce of jealousy that she's around Kane. She glares at me but i ignore it and continue trying to catch up with Dom.

Kanes head lifts up at the sound of his name he scans the crowd. i doubt he could even see me due to my short frame.

Soon enough I reach Dom and he pulls me infront of him gently.

The action causes Kanes eyes to drift down towards me. His eyes widen in recognition. "This is-" Kane cuts Dom off at his "introduction".

"Angel?" he says as he pulls me towards him.

"hi kane" i say in almost a whisper as I bite my lip

While holding my face between his hands he rubs his thumb over my lips causing me to release the skin between my teeth.

"what are you doing here?"

"One of my friends invited me" he raises a brow at that

"who?" he grumbles

i frown "are you not happy that im here?"

"of course im happy angel" he says as he kisses my forehead

i blush at the affection. Which of course Kane notices

i change the subject

"when does your race start?" i ask him

"pretty soon let me ask Dom"

"what time is it dickface?"

i swat his shoulder lightly at the mean name he called his friend.

he glances down at me and whispers "sorry" in my ear and gives me a quick kiss on my temple.

"are you guys dating?" Dom asks

"yes"

"no"

kane says yes at the same time i say no

Dom rolls his eyes as he checks his watch "10:50 you gotta go to starting line in five minutes"

"thanks" Kanes says then focusing his attention back on me

"your my favorite person" I hear kane queitly whisper in my ear

I signal him to come down to my height so i can whisper in his ear

he does, i lean over and whisper those same words. "your my favorite person to"
